ANYTHING CHRISTMAS AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS CHALLENGE

Happy Saturday to everyone!   I cannot believe Christmas is in less than a week - where did the time go??

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS and it is Anything Christmas.   Di has tons of images that will fit this challenge perfectly.  You have until 11:55pm EST on Friday, January 1st, 2016 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win the 2 Di's Digi images.

I hope you will check out DI'S DIGI STAMPS as Di has so many wonderful images, many that would be perfect for our challenge.   You can also check out her CandiBean rubber stamps line - the newest set has just been released!  Hope you will check them out!

I used one of the newest images from DI’S DIGI STAMPS "Special Christmas Friendship" which you can find in the Christmas section of the shop.  This image was such fun to color with my Copics.  I cut out with a die from my stash.  I added Stickles and snow paint for added sparkle.  DP is Basic Grey, sentiment is from My Craft Stop and is cut with Tattered Lace die.  Flower sticker is K and Co.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

Last week I showed you all the things you could do with different elements from one Polkadoodles CD.  This week, I decided to focus on coloring the gorgeous images from Polkadoodles, so I chose 3 different images and then added them to some garland I bought from Target that I twisted up into a wreath.   At the bottom of the wreath, you will find Happy Christmas Twiggy and Toots which is also available in the Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Downloadable Collection.  The image on the right is Hollybobs Choir digi and the one on the left is Hollybobs Presents, both images can also be found on Work and Play Volume 5 Festive Hollybobs Download Collection.  Sure hope you like it and Happy Holidays to all!

Today's New Challenge is CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Make sure you read the rules on the right sidebar at Digi Choosday Challenge Blog so that you can play along. Also, a new DIGI CHOOSDAY DISCOUNT is available until MIDNIGHT GMT so make sure you take advantage of that!!

I wanted to do something really spectacular this week to showcase how many projects you can create from one of the Polkadoodles CDs/Digital Download collections, so I dragged my Pazzle cutting machine out of hybernation and used 3 of the templates - the 3 candy houses - from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Download Collection to create a Christmas Village.  My image of choice this time, Twiggy and Toots Christmas Gift, can be purchased by itself or as part of Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Download Collection.  I used it to make a plaque of sorts to place along with the houses.   I also chose papers, sentiments and used SVG files for the decorations on the houses, as well as for my Christmas plaque, from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Download Collection.  Sure hope you like it!

Here is the full scene followed by some close ups of the individual houses, the middle one is with the plaque.

I hope you will come play along with us at Digi Choosday Challenge Blog.  Don't forget also to check out all the fabulous DT projects.

DESTINY BAKES COOKIES - FAERY INK INSPIRATION!

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share some Faery Ink inspiration with you today. This month we have a nice variety of images to share with you.

For my project this time, I chose to play with Destiny Bakes Cookies from the Destiny Bakes Digital Stamp Set. The Destiny Bakes Digital Stamp Set comes with 20 files which include sentiments as well as a recipe card you can fill out and include with your projects. Additionally, we have a fun Faery Ink Baking Challenge going on in Faery Ink Facebook Group, visit there now and find out how to get your 50% off this awesome Destiny Bakes Digital Stamp Set.

I colored Destiny and the surrounding scenery in the image with my Copics. I used the following color combos:

Hair: E79, E87, E84, E34 and T6

Face: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R21

Eyes: E44, E47

Oven: T8, T6,T4, T2, T0, C1, C3

Wood: E31, E35, E57, E79, W3

Greens: G28, YG17, YG13, YG03

Pinks: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV63, RV10

Cookies: E35, E33, E31

Spoon and rolling pin: YR24, YR21, E33

Blues: BG57, BG45, BG53, BG11

Cookie jars: E44, E42, E40

I also added some sparkle with Atyou Spica pens.

Image is cut with die from Tattered Lace, designer paper is from Doodlebug Designs. I chose to go with a double slanted easel card for this creation so I could show off the image and several other elements. I created the apron based loosely on a template I found on Pinterest. I used a die from Nellie Snellen to create the trim around the neck of the apron and cut 3/4 of a Simon Says Stamp stitched circle die for the pocket of the apron. I attached ribbon from Taylored Expressions. The recipe was found on Google Images and I think it sounds yummy!!

Sure hope you like my creation and hopefully it has given you some inspiration. Make sure that you visit the Faery Ink Shop to see all the wonderful images there, especially all this month's New Releases!! Also, remember to play in our monthly challenge as well as our Baking Challenge - you can find both at Faery Ink Facebook Group.

Hugs:)
