I chose this ADORABLE AI FACTORY image of Ella reading - you can find this image and TONS more at AI FACTORY STORE. I colored her with copics and cut her out using nesties and then daubed edges with SU tempting turquoise. I computer generated the sentiment and attached it with metal from my SU hodge podge hardware kit. DP is American Crafts and CS is Bazzill textured. Hope you like it! Let me know what you think and don't forget to go enter the challenge over at CHARISMA CARDZ with your project. Have fun!!

ANYTHING BUT A CARD at BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG BLOG
Well, it's Monday, the start of another week. Mondays are my "errand" day, so they are always quite busy. Monday is also ANYTHING BUT A CARD DAY over at BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG BLOG - WOO HOO!! I LOVE to alter things, so this was a lot of fun. I decided to make a recipe box because I LOVE to cook as well, plus I think it will make a GREAT gift for some of my other friends who love to cook:)
Top of box features BUGABOO IMAGE "J.J. BAKING." This image, along with all the other AWESOME BUGABOOs, can be found at BUGABOO STORE. I colored J.J. with Atyou Spicas and Copics and used Liquid Pearl for the whipped cream on her head. All DP on the box is Basic Grey. Flowers are Prima.
For the front of the box, I printed out this label on my computer and then cut with an SU border punch. I also added some buttons that I made by spraying plain white buttons with Memories Mist and Maya's Mist. They take a bit longer to dry then when I did something similar with the alcohol inks, but I think they look cool:) CS is SU Bravo Burgandy.
This is the inside of the box. I hope you like it, I'd really love to hear what you think. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

BUGABOO STAMPS' LOVE IS IN THE AIR HOPPITY HOP HOP
Good morning, the weekend is here, which means, well nothing too different since we are all on summer break right now except for DH, so it does mean he will be home:) Anyway, I'm excited for our BUGABOO "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" BLOG HOP today because the DT has come up with so many AMAZING projects and I also LOVE Blog Hops!!
You should have arrived here from RAE ANNE'S ROCKIN' BLOG. If you did not do that, you'll want to return to BUGABOO'S BLOG and start at the beginning.
So, now you're on AUDREY'S BLOG and I just want to remind you to stop by BUGABOO STORE and check out all the AMAZING images in there.
Today, our blog hop theme is "LOVE IS IN THE AIR." I chose to use this SUPER CUTE image of Princess Charlie and her frog.
I colored the image with Copics, and Gelly Roll metallic pens and cut out with nesties die. Sentiment is computer generated and cut out with SU punch. Base CS is SU Bravo Burgandy. 2nd layer is Core-dinations vintage which I ran through Big Shot using new Cuttlebug embossing plus folder. The heart cut out if also from this folder and I used Bazzill textured brown for it. The sparkly domes are from Mark Richards and the buttons I made myself by taking plain white buttons and coloring them with adirondak inks using cotton balls. I used Cranberry and Silver inks. This card fits the challenge at COOKING IT UP WITH KATIE, which requires the following recipe:
1. Make or alter an embellishment
2. Add sparkle
3. Use a die cut
I hope you like what you see and I appreciate you stopping by. Now, on with the blog hop! Your next stop will be MICHELE'S MARVELOUS BLOG. ENJOY!!

THE CHARACTER CAFE FEATURE FRIDAY VELLUM CHALLENGE
Yay, it's Friday and that means 1. the weekend is upon us and 2. A NEW FEATURE FRIDAY CHALLENGE at THE CHARACTER CAFE!! This week, our challenge is to use VELLUM in our project. The challenge goes from now until 10pm Thurs., July 1. Please add your creation to CHARACTER CAFE BLOG using our Linky Tool. Also, while you don't need to use an image from THE CHARACTER CAFE, we'd sure LOVE to see one. So, make sure to visit CHARACTER CAFE STORE and check out all the images plus the selection of FREEBIES there.
I used to use vellum a lot, but it is one of those mediums that I just kind of forgot about in the past couple months, so it was fun to use it again. I chose to use the image of Suzie for my card because I think she's so CUTE!!
I colored her with Copics and Atyou Spicas and cut her out using nesties. Sentiment below is one of two that come with the image. Papers used are We R Memory Keepers DP, Bazzill textured orange and gold flecked vellum. Flower is prima. The sketch I used is from SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY. I hope you like it and I look forward to seeing what you create for the challenge!
SOFTPENCIL THURSDAY - SCRAPBOOK PAGE
Time for SOFTPENCIL THURSDAY and this week was a bit different because we did a scrapbook page! I used to scrapbook A LOT, even sold Creative Memories for 5 years at one point, but now I don't do much scrapbooking anymore, so it was GREAT FUN to do one this week and move out of my current comfort zone. We got to play with the ADORABLE "Molly is giving you a flower" image this week. Make sure you stop by SOFTPENCIL SHOP to see what Elizabeth has in there for you. She's arranged the new sentiments with images and by different languages, so you'll definitely want to check that out! You'll also want to stop by SOFTPENCIL BLOG to see the other DT projects as well as what challenges SOFTPENCIL is sponsoring right now. Also, we hope you'll come and chat along with us at SOFTPENCIL GROUP ON PCP.
I chose to make a "Best Friends" page for my project this week - think the image fits well with this theme. I chose paper from The Paper Studio. I colored Molly with Copics and used Stickles and Liquid Pearls as well. I chose stickers from The Paper Studio, K & Co. and Martha Stewart Crafts. Flower is from Prima. All cut-outs done using Quickutz dies. I hope you like it, please let me know what you think:)
I am also entering this in the following challenges:
CRAFTY CREATIONS to use shine and CREATIVE COTTAGE to use pearls and swirls.
TERRIFICALLY THRILLING THURSDAY CHALLENGE AT SHELLY'S IMAGES!
Well, it's time for what you've been waiting for, our new TTT CHALLENGE at SHELLY'S IMAGES BLOG - WOO HOO!! I wanted to do something that wouldn't be too tough so that lots of you will want to join us, so I chose a challenge using the #3, which is an often used number in popculture - The "Rule" of 3, "3s" a Charm, 3 strikes and your out, etc. So this week, your projects must have at least 1 element in 3s, for example, 3 different DPs, 3 buttons, 3 embellishments, and so on. I think this should be a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what you create!! You have until next Weds., June 30 at 11:59pm to enter your creation using our Linky Tool. Good luck and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Remember, you are not required to use one of SHELLY'S IMAGES, but we'd sure LOVE to see one:) You should definitely visit the SHELLY'S IMAGES STORE to see all the AWESOME images there:)
For my card, I tried to show several different examples of "3s," but for your challenge cards, you only need to use 1 set of 3. I used 3 different kinds of paper - Bazzill textured for the base, SU smooth chocolate chip CS for the 2nd layer (that I embossed with Quickutz EF), and mulberry paper. I also used 3 different brown papers. I chose 3 buttons for each side of my card (some from JoAnn and some are MFT). I colored my image from SHELLY'S IMAGES with Copics, cut with nesties and daubed with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink. Sentiment is computer generated and cut with nesties and scissors. I hope you like it and can't wait to see what you create!
The sketch I used for this card is from PAPERTAKE WEEKLY CHALLENGE. Thanks so much for looking. Let me know what you think:)
NEW CHALLENGE AT AI FACTORY - NON-TRADITIONAL SHAPE
Hello Everyone! It has been HOT, HOT, HOT here in Ohio - temps. in the 90s and SUPER humid. Even with the A/C on, my house is still stifling and I'm sweaty all the time - ick. Anyway, it is time for a new challenge at AI FACTORY this week and the theme is Non-traditional shaped card, which means no squares or rectangle cards. To play along, go to our AI FACTORY CHALLENGE BLOG and enter your project using our linky tool. You have until next Weds., June 30 at 10:30pm. Remember, you don't have to use an AI FACTORY image, but if you'd like to, stop by AI FACTORY STORE where you'll find tons of AMAZING images as well as a GREAT selection of FREEBIES:)
If you want to know everything that's going on with AI FACTORY as well as some other GREAT stamp companies, make sure and visit our NEW AI FACTORY COMMUNITY, you'll meet lots of WONDERFUL people there too!
If you want to know everything that's going on with AI FACTORY as well as some other GREAT stamp companies, make sure and visit our NEW AI FACTORY COMMUNITY, you'll meet lots of WONDERFUL people there too!
This is the outside of my card. I used this really cool textured paper, but for some reason, I could not get a good picture of it on the outside of the card. You will see it better in the inside picture. I used a Quickutz die for this, added some bling from Michael's and then cut out my AI FACTORY image with scissors after coloring her with Copics, Gelly Roll and Aytou Spica pens.
Here is the inside of my card. Now you can see the cool paper I chose:) I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out with nesties. Thanks so much for looking and please let me know what you think. Also, don't forget to enter your project at AI FACTORY CHALLENGE BLOG. Can't wait to see what you create!!:)

NEW RELEASE DAY AT BUGABOO!!
Happy Afternoon everyone! Sorry I am a bit late with my post for BUGABOO'S NEW RELEASE today. Was at the dr. and it took WAAAY longer than I expected. You are going to LOVE BUGABOO'S RELEASE for today - POPPI PENGUIN!! Make sure you stop by BUGABOO STORE and check them out! Also, please stop by BUGABOO BLOG and check out the AMAZING work from some of the other DT members.
So I chose Poppi Penguin and his surf board. I colored the image with Copics, paper pieced with Cosmo Cricker paper, cut with nesties and then added SU chunky glitter on his tummy. Other DP is Cosmo Cricket (yello) and K & Co. (swirly blue). Sentiment is computer generated and daubed with Kaleidacolor. Ribbon is Offray satin, button is Basic Grey and embroidary floss from JoAnn is tied through it.
The sketch for this card is from FRIDAY SKETCHERS CHALLENGE. Thus card is also for STAMP SOMETHING CHALLENGES which is to use a Summer theme. Thanks SO MUCH for looking and for your patience. Hope you like it!:)
TECHNIQUE TUESDAY AT SHELLY'S IMAGES!
Today is TECHNIQUE TUESDAY over at SHELLY'S IMAGES BLOG. I have decided to share with you one of my favorite techniques, it's called faux mosaic. For it, all you need is 2 sheets of CS, 1 sheet of DP, your trimmer, scorer, Mod Podge Glossy, ink and a dauber. Sounds pretty simple, right?
Next, I take my DP and tear it into many different sized pieces. I usually keep them fairly small for a card, but if you are doing some kind of altered project, you would of course tear them according to the size of your project.
So, once you have torn all your pieces of DP, you go through an daub the edges with your ink.
Now it's time to start adding your daubed pieces of torn DP. You'll want to overlap them and cover the CS. You can always go over the edges of the CS because you can go back and trim off the excess after it dries. You may have to reapply the Mod Podge during the course of covering your CS because it dries quickly. When you have finished adding all your torn pieces of DP, go over the whole thing with a thin layer of Mod Podge to make sure all of the edges are stuck down. This step is why it's important to use the Gloss variety of Mod Podge because it makes the finished product look nice and shiny and not flat.
After it dries, then trim the edges and mount on your card base.
Now you're ready to add your image and embellish as desired. For my image, I chose this SHELLY'S IMAGES image called Honey Bee that you can find at SHELLY'S IMAGES STORE. I colored the image with Copics and also used Stickles and Flower soft on it, then cut out using Nesties and daubed with SU taken with teal ink. Sentiment is computer generated and cut out with SU punch. Ribbon is Offray satin.
I hope you found this tutorial fun and helpful. I LOVE this technique and think the results are SOOO COOL! Please let me know what you think!:)

Here's the sketch for this week's challenge:
For whatever reason, I took several pictures of this card and I'm still not totally satisfied with the quality of the picture - it looks much clearer IRL and the hair is not quite so bright, but this is how my camera kept interpreting it. I am still pleased with the card though, don't get me wrong. This image is Jumpin for Joy and she's so cute and happy! I computer generated the sentiment and think it goes great with her:) Joy is colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas, cut with nesties and daubed with SU blue bayou ink. Sentiment is also cut with nesties and daubed with SU blue bayou. Papers are Bazzill for base and all the rest are DCWV from Latte stack. Hope you like it and that you come and play along with us. SOME ODD GIRL CHALLENGE
Hey Everyone! Thanks to everyone who has stopped by over the past couple days. I'm glad you are all excited about the new candy. If you have recently become a follower, WELCOME, so glad you are here!!
Just a quick update, I want to apologize if I have not visited/commented on any blogs of my fellow DT members and challenge participants over the past few days. I found out on Thurs. that there was some credit card fraud on one of my accts. There were a few tasks associated with this including switching over recurring payments, etc. Then yesterday, I was notified that I am the victim of complete ID theft - name, SS#, etc. It's been a pretty harrowing experience and has taken a bunch of time filing various fraud alerts, etc. Anyway, I promise to get back to my commenting in the next couple days.
So, I have been drooling over the images at SOME ODD GIRL since they opened many months ago, and I finally went ahead and bought some and have created a card for their challenge. You can find that on SOME ODD GIRL BLOG. The challenge this time is a sketch challenge. I chose to use the image of MerMae and also Sunny Rays. I think they look nice together.
I colored both images with Copics and also used Atyou Spicas, Stickles and Smooch. I cut both out using nesties. MerMae image is daubed with CTMH ink in a turquoise color (not sure exact name). Papers are Tempting turquoise CS, background paper is K &Company and strip of DP is DCWV. Bling flowers are by Recollections from Michaels and sentiment is computer generated, cut with nesties and daubed with CTMH ink. I really had fun making this card and am just loving the SOME ODD GIRL images!! Let me know what you think:)

MARVELOUS MONDAY AT SHELLY'S IMAGES!
Another Monday post for me, woo hoo. Over the past couple of weeks it seems like the beginning of the week has been a bit slow with my posting, so I'm THRILLED to have another post today and especially b/c it is for SHELLY'S IMAGES MARVELOUS MONDAY! You should definitely head over to SHELLY'S IMAGES SHOP and check out everything she's got there - LOTS of new stuff that you will LOVE! Also, check out SHELLY'S IMAGES BLOG to see all the DT creations as well as what Marion has in store for us this week:)
So our image this week is "toolbox" and I thought it would be fun to do something "outside the box" (pun intended LOL) and make is SUPER GIRLY. I'm so EXCITED how it turned out. I colored the image with Copics and Atyou Spicas and daubed the edges with SU sage shadow after cutting with nesties. All DP is Imaginisce, CS is SU regal rose and melon mambo which is embossed with new Tim Holtz for Sizzix EF. Flowers are Prima and sentiment is computer generated, cut with nesties and daubed with SU sage shadow. Layout for this card is another of Arlana's AMAZING sketches over at SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY where I am also entering this card in their ANNIVERSARY CHALLENGE. Happy Anniversary girls!!:)
KABOODLE DOODLES HAS A NEW CHALLENGE!
Good morning (or good evening, depending on where you are). Here in OH, it's just after midnight and I wanted to introduce our NEW CHALLENGE at KABOODLE DOODLES. Our challenge this week is ANYTHING GOES w/ A SPLASH OF PURPLE, which I enjoyed IMMENSELY b/c purple is my FAVORITE color (bet you couldn't tell from my blog, huh?;)) Also, we are being sponsored by THE CHARACTER CAFE, which is one of my FAVORITE places to shop and I LOVE their images (and am on the DT there!:)) So, I chose one of the Sunflower images for my card. The sentiment comes with it!
I colored my image with Copics and cut it out using Nesties. I then daubed the edges with SU Orchid Opulance. Base CS is SU Kraft which I used an EK Success border punch for the bottom. SU chocolate chip is 2nd layer and ran it through Big Shot using Cuttlebug EF. Then used Offray textured ribbon from JoAnn and wrapped it around 2nd layer. This is a bit different from things I have done in the past and I'm really pleased at how it turned out. I hope you will join us for the challenge at KABOODLE DOODLES by linking your project prior to 4pm EST on June 27. Looking forward to seeing what you create:)

CRAFTY HOs' CHALLENGE - SUMMER BRIGHTS!!
Good Afternoon ALL! Sorry to be a bit late posting today, but some stuff going on prevented me from getting to this last night. Anyway, we have a NEW CHALLENGE at CRAFTY HOs' this week and the challenge is to create a card/project using SUMMER BRIGHTS colors! Think turquoise, bright yellow, bright oranges, etc.
I chose this SUPER CUTE image from Chi Chi Memories. If you haven't seen this line of images yet, you'll definitely want to check them out at CHI CHI MEMORIES SHOP. There is also the CHI CHI MEMORIES BLOG where you can check out what's going on and what the DT is up to. I chose SUMMER BRIGHT colors from Bo Bunny (orange polka dot DP), Best Creations (DP) AND SU (tempting turquoise and brilliant blue CS). My image is printed on GP white 110 and colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas, cut with Quikutz die and daubed with SU brilliant blue. Orange DP cut with nesties and small squares cut using EK Success punches (1 and 1/8 & 3/4 sizes). Brilliant blue paper embossed with Cuttlebug folder. Sentiment computer generated and cut out with punch, daubed with SU brilliant blue ink.
The sketch I chose for this card can be found at CHI CHI MEMORIES CHALLENGE and you can also see it here:
So, you have until Saturday, June 19 at 11:59pm to enter your SUMMER BRIGHTS project at CRAFTY HOs' CHALLENGE. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Let me know what you think of my creation:)

NEW CHALLENGE AT BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG BLOG!
Are you excited about the World Cup? I know I am!! Both my boys play soccer and my husband is a soccer FANATIC, so there will be LOTS of soccer watching at our house over the next month! This week, BUGABOO STAMPS' NEW CHALLENGE on BUGABOO CATCH THE BUG CHALLENGE BLOG is related to SPORTS. Your card can be related to The World Cup, the country you want to win, the country you're from, your favorite sport or team or any other sports related card. BUGABOO has lots of fun sports related images at the BUGABOO STORE! You don't have to use a BUGABOO image on your card, but if you do, you get an extra entry for each challenge entry, which means more chance to win some awesome BUGABOO images!
For my card, I decided to do something that centered around South Africa, the host country of The World Cup. Their team colors are yellow and green. I colored this BUGABOO sock monkey image with Copics and Atyou Spicas. His hat is done with flower soft and he is cut out of GP white 110 with nesties and daubed with SU garden green ink. Sentiment is computer generated and cut with nesties. DP used for paper piecing and behind image is from Jillibean. Brads are American Crafts. Paper and soccer field (goal) paper and stickers were purchased at my local scrapbook store. Base of card is SU yoyo yellow. I had a ton of fun making this card, I hope you like it!! Please let me know.
Make sure you link your creations at BUGABOO CHALLENGE BLOG by 11:59pm Friday, June 18. Can't wait to see what you create!!

So for my FREEBIE FRIDAY card, I chose to use the "cool cat." I used one of BUGABOO's sentiments that comes with the image in PNG format and moved it under the image.
I colored the cat with Copics and Atyou Spicas, making sure to make him extra cool!! I cut out the image using nesties and daubed part with SU pacific point ink. The DP is a double sided paper from Best Creations - I used both sides. Card base is SU, although not sure exactly which blue. Buttons are from Basic Grey and I love how they match the SP so well! I used the sketch from INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. Let me know what you think:)
FUN AT FAIRY KNOLL FRIDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE!
Have you visited FAIRY KNOLL BLOG recently? Well, if you haven't, you definitely should and if you have, come back again because guess what?!? There's a NEW SKETCH CHALLENGE going on! You will also want to make sure you check out FAIRY KNOLL SHOP because Brandi has some AMAZING images in there and new ones are being released all the time! If you like chatting about stamping, getting FREEBIES and showing off your cards, then stop by our PCP GROUP, there are many WONDERFUL people there:)
So for today's sketch, we are working with this FABULOUS sketch, and of course, since I have always been a bit of a nonconformist, I had to flip it:) I chose to use Bianca this week and I feel like she is a very regal fairy, so I decorated her as though she was a queen. I colored her with Copics and Atyou Spicas. I used Stickles for her wings. I really like the DP I found from Jillibean at my local scrapbook store. I combined it with SU yoyo yellow and gable green. The gable green CS is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Image and background cut with nesties. I computer generated the sentiment which says "Happy Birthday My Sweet Friend" and cut it with an SU punch. It is flanked by Bo Bunny Brads. The ribbon is one of my favorite finds from Hobby Lobby.
My card also is for the following challenges:
COOKING IT UP WITH KATIE, the recipe challenge this week calls for: green, embossing and ribbon. I am entering it at FOR FUN CHALLENGES as well, which calls for a birthday card for a special person.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you like what you see. Please let me know:)
FRIDAY CHALLENGE AT THE CHARACTER CAFE (TCC)
Welcome to TCC FEATURE FRIDAY CHALLENGE 21. If you are entering this challenge by way of PCP, SNR, SCS or any other online galleries, please use the tag TCCFF21 on your entries. Thanks! Our Challenge this week is to create a FATHER'S DAY CARD and to use Embossing of some kind. Make sure you visit the CHARACTER CAFE STORE to check out all the images available for you to purchase. You are not required to use one to enter our challenge, but we sure do LOVE seeing them! Also, check out CHARACTER CAFE BLOG to check out the work of the other DT Members:)
The TCC image I used for my card is called "Chip" and I thought it made the perfect choice for my 4 kids to give their dad. I colored Chip with Copics and Atyou Spicas and then cut it out with scissors. For the background, I used a Cuttlebug folder on GP white 110 and then used my SU Aqua painter to paint using Twinkling H2Os. I'm pretty excited with how it turned out. Buttons are SU and Bella Bella and sentiment is computer generated using Power Point. Sentiment is then daubed with SU pumpkin pie. Base CS is SU Taken with Teal. Thanks so much for looking and make sure you also submit your own creation to THE CHARACTER CAFE BLOG. Can't wait to see what you create:)
This card also fits in with the challenge at CUTTLEBUG CHALLENGE which is to use a Cuttlebug EF and paint.
