Anything Goes at THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE–Special 2 week challenge

Enjoy the Spring - Digital Stamps
For my card this week, I chose Enjoy the Spring digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this beautiful image with Copics and added Atyou Spica pens.  I cut the image with a Crealies die as well as the backing paper behind it.

This card is another type of accordion fold.  I chose papers from Recollections.  I added crinkle ribbon from my stash, flowers from I Am Roses, bring from Prima.  Sentiment, from Creative Expressions clear stamp, is cut out with Nestie.

Vanessa Rae from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS Shop

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome back to my blog.   I hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.   Weather here has continued to be VERY hot and humid.
I am thrilled to share my newest creation using one of the fabulous images from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

Digi Doodles Vanessa Rae Digi Stamp
This week I am sharing my creation using Vanessa Rae digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics and Atyou Spicas and I added some Stickles after cutting her out.  Image cut out with my Cameo.WIN_20180719_14_17_48_Pro - Copy

I made a pocket fold recipe card this week.  I chose papers from Heartfelt Creations, bling from Prima and a wooden holly and berries piece that I colored with Copics and added Stickles on the berries.  The tag was made with a Stampin Up punch and some ribbon from my stash.  I hope you will give the recipe a try, it is yummy.

Enchanting Butterflies - Digital Stamp
For my card this week, I chose Enchanting Butterflies digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this beautiful image with Copics and added Atyou Spica pens.  I cut the image with a Gina Marie Designs die.

This card is a type of accordion fold.  I chose papers from Heartfelt Creations.  I love Heartfelt Creations papers because they also come with sentiments.  I used 2 of the sentiments on my creation.  I added butterflies and bling from Prima plus twine from my stash.  Additionally, there is a faux ribbon and lace piece on the front panel.

SASAYAKI GLITTER–Under Water Video and Card

Hello everyone!  Hope you are doing awesome and enjoying your summer.  I just returned over the weekend from an awesome family vacation overseas.  I had a great time but I am glad to be home – I miss my dogs when we travel and also miss my crafting time, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to go and to spend time with family.

Today I am sharing a video I made several weeks ago using one of the amazing images from Sasayaki Glitter shop.  I chose Image #84 Under Water.  My video, which can be found here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFqaOtOEsB0&t=516s, shares some of my coloring techniques and some details on the easal card variation I made for this project.  Hope you will check it out and let us know what you think!

My card is a variation of an easel card.  I chose my papers from Doodlebug Designs and added a sentiment from a clear stamp in my stash.  Both image and sentiment are cut out with Gina Marie Designs die.  I added shells from my stash and bling from Bo Bunny.   I sure hope you like it and will go watch my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFqaOtOEsB0&t=516s.

For my card this week, I chose The Happy Couple digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this beautiful image with Copics and added white with Copic acrylic paint and Atyou Spicas.

I chose papers from First Edition.  My image is cut with MFT die and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp is cut with a die from my stash and then I added crinkle ribbon through hole in die cut.  Flowers are from I Am Roses and glittery stamens are from Heartfelt Creations.  Here’s a closer view of my colored image.

Christmas in July Challenge at DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS!

Hi everyone!   Time for our New Challenge at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog sponsored by Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Our theme this month is CHRISTMAS IN JULY.  Any type of crafting will qualify, just make sure to include a hand colored image. 

Our challenges run every month starting on the 1st of the month and ending on the 28th.   You can use any image you like on your creations.  There will be a prize of 2 digis for our winner who uses an image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop and 1 digi for our winner who uses an image not from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.
Nutcracker Noelle Digi Stamp Instant Download Digital StampFor today's card, I used Nutcracker Noelle digi image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Image is colored with my Copics and cut out with Tonic die.

I chose papers from Heartfelt Creations which I ripped into smaller pieces and then daubed with inks from Distress Ink, Hampton Art and MFT.  I used Mod Podge to secure the papers to my wooden Christmas tree from Kaisercraft.  For the bottom piece, I used Distress Ink dauber and covered with texture gloss before added prills.

Sentiment is from A Season of Cheer. Sentiment set that can also be found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Sentiment is daubed with 2 different inks and cut out with dies from Pink and Main.  I also added sheer flowers from my stash, berries and spiral stamens from I Am Roses and stamens from Heartfelt Creations.
