As of now, the SOFTPENCIL SHOP is closed for maintenance, so the only place you can get the current SOFTPENCIL PRODUCTS is at SOFTPENCIL'S ETSY SHOP.  All current products will be available ONLY until Jan. 2.  Elizabeth is re-designing all her characters, so get your current SOFTPENCIL products while you still can.   Also,

One last thing before I get to my card.  Hope you will pop on over to SOFTPENCIL GROUP ON PCP for fun, chatting and getting to know the DT and other lovers of SOFTPENCIL!!

This week the SOFTPENCIL DT got to play with the image "A Charmed Christmas Tree."  I think this image is so cute and really wanted to show all the amazing detail of the little girls, so I printed it out quite large and made it the cover of an accordian style photo album.
I used e. by Prima pearls and rhinestones, blingy flowers and snowflakes from Michael's.  DP is 3 Bugs in A Rug.  Images colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas, cut with Nesties and flowersoft used for snow.  Bow is Offray Satin.  Sentiment computer generated and used personal trimmer to cut.  Thanks for looking!

Also entered the following challenges: A CRAFTY LITTLE PLACE - anything goes
SCRAP CREATIONS - anything goes
TUESDAY THROWDOWN - embellish it

Add some sparkle to your embellies Tutorial for SHELLY'S IMAGES

How many of us LOVE buttons, brads and flowers with Sparkle, but don't want to pay inflated prices to get some?!?  If you fall into that category, I have an amazingly easy way to achieve the sparkle effect without spending a mint.

First step, find some glitter - whatever color you wish and some glue.  If I'm doing a brad or flower I usually use a really light textured glue such as JudiKins glaze.  I like Mod Podge for the heavier items, such as buttons.  Although today I used JudiKins for the buttons and it worked fine.

Ok, now once you start this process, you need to work quickly because you don't want your glue to dry and get all clumpy when you add the glitter.  So I make a pile of glue and then some piles of glitter and dip the items in the glue and then the glitter and voila!

Then, just pick out your image - mine is from SHELLY'S IMAGES SHOP and make your card.  I didn't use all that I made because I didn't love the silver on the flower, but that's ok.  Might use it for something else:)

Hope you will find this helpful:)  Have a wonderful day!!
Challenges entered: ARTFUL INKABLES die cuts and punches
TUESDAY TAGGERS - Santa Claus
STAMPS R US - holiday cards

This week, we are working with the image "MERRY CHRISTMAS."  I LOVE this image because it reminds me of the joy and simplicity that I like to take in at Christmas time.
