Birthdays Challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER Challenge

For my card this week, I chose Sweet Things digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this wonderful image with Copics and Atyou Spicas and cut out with die from Kat Scrappiness.

Sweet Things - Digital Stamp

I chose papers from Basic Grey which I cut using my paper trimmer and then used a corner rounder to round all the edges on my shapes.  I added a sentiment from Taylored Expressions which is also cut with Kat Scrappiness die.  Then I added some buttons from Papertrey Ink and a nice flower from Petaloo for the finishing touch.

WINTER Challenge at Di’s Digi Designs Challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS Challenge and it is WINTER.  Di has tons of images that will fit this challenge perfectly.  You have until 10pm EST on Friday, February 9 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS Shop to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the random prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win the 2 Di's Digi Stamp images!!

I used this adorable image “Izzy's Snowy Umbrella” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This image is colored with Copics and cut out with die from Crafter’s Companion.  I added Stickles, Nuvo Glitter Paste and SU glitter to the image after cutting with die as well as daubing the edges with Memento ink.

I chose papers from Heartfelt Creations and added a sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs which is cut out with Crealies die.  I added some awesome ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, bling from Darice and snowflake stickers from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Aurora Masquerade Ball from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS

Hey everyone, it's time for me to share my Digi Doodle Studios Blog post, and that means it's Thursday!  Hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.  I am thrilled to share my newest creation using another fabulous image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I am sharing my creation using Aurora Masquerade Ball
digi image.   I had a great time coloring this adorable image with my Copics and cut it out with Cheery Lynn Designs die as well as piece behind the image.   I chose colors that I typically relate to Valentine's Day to color up Aurora Masquerade Ball.

 I used the following colors:

Hair E18, E39, E15, E13, E21
Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30
Dress RV99, RV69, RV19, RV34, R83, R81, RV10
Cape RV19, RV34, RV21, RV32
Boots, Bow E79, E59, E57, E35
Feathers and mask are colored using the same combos as dress, cape, boots and bows and then I added glitter to various areas using Atyou Spicas.

Image is highlighted with E33 and RV10 and ground is E33, E31, E30 and added dots with E25.    I chose papers from Bo Bunny, Basic Grey and Fiskers.  My shadow box is precut from Heartfelt Creations.  I chose some Memory Box dies for the cut outs inside the frame.  On the outside, I added a sentiment from Stampendous cut with Avery Elle die and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon added.  Flowers are from I Am Roses and stickers are from Hobby Lobby and Recollections.

This week I get to share my creation using Cocoa's Snowballs for Sale
digi image.   I had a great time coloring this adorable image with my Copics and cut it out with Tim Holtz die as well as piece behind the image.   I chose winter-y colors to color up Cocoa's Snowballs for Sale.

Image is highlighted with BG90 and YR20 blended out with my Colorless Blender marker and ground is C1, B000 and also blended out with my Copic colorless blender.  I chose papers from Hot Off The Press and snowflakes stickers from Martha Stewart Crafts and Jolee's Boutique.  Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps clear stamp and is cut with die from Gina Marie Designs.

For my card this week, I chose Rose  digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this wonderful image with Copics and cut out with my Cameo.

I chose Heartfelt Creations papers and sentiment is Penny Black clear stamp.  Sentiment is cut with Gina Marie Designs die.   My triple oval shaped creation is made with a Tattered Lace die set.   I added bling from Darice to finish out my card.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS Challenge Blog starts today - January Blues

Hi everyone!  Great news, there's a New Challenge starting today at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog sponsored by Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Today is our very first challenge and our theme is JANUARY BLUES - so we are looking for you to use the color BLUE on your creations. 

Our challenges will run every month starting on the 1st of the month and ending on the 28th of every month.   You can use any image you like on your creations.  There will be a prize of 2 digis for our winner who uses an image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop and 1 digi for our winner who uses an image not from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

For today's card, I used Snowman Hugs image from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Image is colored with my Copics, Atyou Spicas and Sakura gel pen and cut out with Nestie then daubed with Clearly Kelly Ink.



I chose papers from Pebbles, Inc. and made a fancy fold card.  I added Flowers from Prima and I Am Roses.  Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.


Sentiment is from Snow Wishes Sentiment set that can also be found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  I cut the image out with Nestie and then daubed it with Memento Ink.
