CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE AT FLAT FRIENDS AND NEW CHALLENGE RULES!!

I am presenting the wonderful "Deer Girl" from the new Christmas releases.  I have colored this beauty with Copics and Sakura pen.  Image and backing cut with Lifestyle Crafts dies.  I used Bazzill CS, embossed right side with Sizzix folder.  Paper is from free booklet I received with one of my crafting magazines.  Lace and pearls from Prima and poinsettia sticker from my stash.  Sentiment is from A. Jillian Vance Designs and cut with die from there as well.  Sure hope you like it!

INKY IMPRESSIONS CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE

Happy day everyone!!   Hope everyone is off to a good week so far - not sure how it's Wednesday already, but it is!  Today starts our NEW CHALLENGE at INKY IMPRESSIONS CHALLENGE though, and it is TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS!  So, whatever that means to you, let's see what you've got:)

Today marks my last challenge as an Inkette.  It's always bittersweet to me to leave a team that I have been part of, but it also opens the door to new opportunities.  I want to thank all the Inkettes for having me along for over a year and looking forward to keeping up with them in blogland:)

Happy Saturday to everyone!!  Off to older son's soccer here in a bit - last tournament of the fall season this weekend.  I love watching and cheering for my boys, but it's getting cold out and to be honest, I am ready for a few quieter weekends before we head into the holiday season.

Hello and happy Wednesday.  Not such a happy day for me, my dogs got into a VERY bad fight yesterday and my sweet shar-pei is badly injured.  He has been whining and whimpering since he came home from the vet last night and is not looking too good.  It makes me so sad, he's such a great dog.

Today we start a fun little game on CRAFTY SENTIMENTS INSPIRATION BLOG where we split into teams and worked with stamps from the New Release.  Each team had to come up with 2 or 3 elements, depending on how many people on the team, and use those in their creation.  So, my team had 3 people so we picked 3 elements - see if you can guess what they are!!

My team used this awesome image SNOW ANGEL, which I have colored with Copics and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die and then added Stickles.  Sentiment is from My Craft Spot and cut with Nestie then added bling candy dot from my stash.  DP is My Mind's Eye and CS is Bazzill.  Flowers are from Petaloo, Snowflake in center of Cheery Lynn die is from Martha Stewart.  Sure hope you like it.

For my creation today, I have used CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS digi Annabel the Witch (this image is also available as a rubber stamp, which is this week's prize).  Image is colored with Copics and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die and mounted on frame cut with Cheery Lynn doily die.  Bling is from Darice, sentiment, which I stamped on the image piece is from Pink By Design.  Papers are SU and from my stash DP and Bazzill CS.  Sure hope you like it and will come join us!

I have used INKY IMPRESSIONS SHOP New Release sentiment "Wishing You..."  I decided to go with just a sentiment this time, and I really like the way it turned out.   I colored it with Copics in a tie-dye motif and cut with scissors.  I used a Nestie to frame it.  I added Zva Creative bling and flower from Prima, plus crinkled ribbon.  DP is Fabriscraps and CS is Bazzill.  Thanks so much for stopping by:)

COLORS OF HALLOWEEN AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS!

Happy Saturday to everyone!!  Just got back from younger son's soccer game - it was almost 2 hrs. long - played 20 minutes of overtime and then penalty kicks had to decide the game - very exciting.   Thankfully we came out on the winning end:)

IN RECOGNITION OF BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Hi everyone!  I hope you have had a wonderful week:)  Today is my posting day at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO BLOG and I want to share a creation I made using Ribbon Girl which you can find at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO SHOP and it's available for Instant Download - yay!!

I have colored ribbon girl up for today's post in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.   I decided to bring a more serious tone to today's post to show my support of anyone and everyone who has been affected by this disease.  Breast Cancer is a disease which I believe has touched all our lives in some way - whether personally, through a friend, relative, co-worker, etc.   I want to offer prayers to anyone living with this horrible disease, hope and continued strength to those who have beat it and condolences to anyone who has lost someone to Breast Cancer.  I truly hope that 1 day we will find a way to beat this disease once and for all.
