WELCOME SPRING AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS CHALLENGE

Happy Saturday to everyone!!  Hope your weekend has started off well.  My family and I just got back yesterday from a week in Cancun, Mexico.  It was glorious to be in 80 degree weather for about a week.  Sure wish it was that warm here!

Anyway, we have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS and it is WELCOME SPRING.  You have until 11:55pm EDT on Friday, April 11, 2014 to come join the fun. Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize – a $10 voucher to Really Reasonable Ribbon (winner pays shipping if any).

My creation today uses DI’S DIGI STAMPS image Toadstool Daisy.  I colored this gorgeous image with Copics and added Atyou Spica's and Judi Kins glaze on the mushrooms and trim of girl's dress done with Sakura pen.  Image cut out with scissons and mounted on new die cut from Sue Wilson.  I also used a Sue Wilson die for the sentiment cut out.  Sentiment is from C.C. Designs.  DP is from my stash and CS is Core-dinations, CTMH and Bazzill.  Flowers are Prima.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

Today I used LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS Limited Edition rubber stamp The Girl with a Fan.   I had printed this out some weeks ago and was slightly daunted by all the detail, but I finally chose to color it, and I am thrilled with how it came together.  I hope you like it too.  The stamp is colored with Copics and Sakura pen and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.  I chose Bazzill and SU CS, Basic Grey DP and flowers from Petaloo and Prima.  Sentiment from Cardz TV is cut with Nestie.   Sure hope you like it and will come play along:)

WELCOME SPRING CHALLENGE AT MILKCOFFEE!

Hi everyone and hope you've had a wonderful day.    We have a NEW CHALLENGE beginning today at MILKCOFFEE CHALLENGE and it is WELCOME SPRING creations!  You have until 8pm EST on Wednesday, April 9 to come play along. While we’d love to see you use an image from MILKCOFFEE SHOP, it is not required to play along in our challenges.  Only requirement is your creation must be new and only 3 entries per person.  Hope you will come join us!!

For my creation, I chose MILKCOFFEE SHOP image Lisbeth adn Big Mushroom in the Rain.   I adore this image and it was such fun to color with my Copics and then cut out with Nesties.  I have added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, DP from GCD Designs, CS from Bazzill and CTMH and flowers from Prima.  Sentiment says "Springtime Hugs" and is from My Craft Spot and cut with die from my stash.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

GLAMMING IT UP WITH WHIMSY STAMPS DIGI

Hello everyone!!  It's my posting day today on the WHIMSY INSPIRES BLOG and I want to share my latest creation using one of the fabulous March New Releases found at the Whimsy Stamps Store. This week I felt like doing something different than my usual bright colored creations, so I went with a glam card idea using only black, white and red.   I have chosen Whimsy Stamps Store NEW DIGI RELEASE HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS from Marika Collins Collection for my card.  I kept my color scheme for the image as well, coloring it with my Copics and adding touchs of sparkle from Sakura and Atyou Spica pens.  I love the sentiment which is from Pink By Design clear stamps.  All die cuts used are Lifestyle Crafts, DP is Kaisercraft and Bella Blvd., CS is Bazzill and Doodlebug Design.   I finished off my card with bling flourish and crystals from Prima for some extra glam touches.  Sure hope you like it and that you will check out everything the Whimsy Stamps Store has to offer.  Have a great day!  Hugs:)

I have made 2 cards this week using SAMI STAMPS SHOP New Release images.  My first one uses Four Spring Chicks.  Both images that I chose to work with this week have chicks in them because my oldest daughter is obsessed with baby chicks.  I made this card specially for her - I colored all the chicks in different colors with my Copics because 1. my daughter has a very colorful personality and 2. I have a great love of color, especially vivid and bright color.  Image cut out with Sizzix dies and I added flowers from Petaloo, DP from Doodlebug Designs, CS from Bazzill and sentiment from Jaded Blossom, which is cut with Nestie.

My second card uses SAMI STAMPS SHOP New Release image Chicks for Me.   I went with more pastel type colors on this one and I'm really pleased with the results.  The DP is from my stash and CS is Bazzill and CTMH.  Sentiment also from Jaded Blossom - another perfect one - and cut with Nestie, buttons from Bag 'o Buttons.  Image cut with Cheery Lynn designs die, colored with Copics.

When I think of the first signs of Spring, I think of rain, so this week I have chosen Whimsy Stamps Store NEW DIGI RELEASE SPRING RAIN from Marika Collins Collection.  I chose bright colors for this image using my Copics.  I added some dimensional glaze for the raindrops and the heart on her pant leg, but it is difficult to see on the photo.  I found this great Pebbles, Inc. paper to go along with this image.  I added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, flowers from Prima and image and right corner die cuts done with Nesties.  Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and cut with Frantic Stamper die.  Sure hope you like it and that you will check out everything the Whimsy Stamps Store has to offer.  Have a great day!  Hugs:)

BRAND NEW CHALLENGE - ODDBALL ART STAMPS!!

Hello, I'm thrilled to announce that it's time for our FIRST challenge at Oddball Art Stamps Blog.  Our new DT is in place - read all about them by clicking HERE.  We are so excited and hope you will check us out and come play along!  Our challenge this month is USE A DIGI.  

We have a few simple rules for you to follow if you want to play along:

My creation uses "Bunny Boxer Bum" from the FUNNY BUNNIES SET New Release from the Crissy’s Digis collection.  There are a bunch of cute bunnies to choose from in the set, but I couldn't resist this one which that adorable fluffy tail - I made it extra fluffy by using Flower Soft on it.  Image is colored with Copics and then cut with scissors.  Background is DP from IN THE COUNTRY BY MICHELE ROOS which can also be found at Whimsy Stamps Store.  Sentiment is from a rubber stamp in my stash.  CS is SU and Bazzill.  Sun cut using Sizzix die and polka dot DP from My Little Yellow Bicycle.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along:)

I have chosen the gorgeous Inspiration Blossoms from Ashlan Valor Tangles images available at the Whimsy Stamps Store.  I just love all the details of this wonderful image and it was such fun to color with my Copics and Atyou Spicas.  I found Basic Grey DP that I think go perfectly with the image and I chose colors to match the DP.  Sentiment is from My Craft Spot and I have cut with Nestie and added Darice blingy flowers.  Image and backing also cut with Nesties.  Sure hope you like it and enjoy the hop!!

NEW RELEASES AND NEW CHALLENGE AT SAMI STAMPS!!

Happy Friday everyone!   Weird week for me, I've either had totally productive or totally frustrating days all week and then yesterday was a combination of the 2!  I am super glad it's Friday and temperatures here will be around 50, so that is awesome as it's been below freezing for most of the week.

I have made 2 cards this week using SAMI STAMPS SHOP New Release images.  My first one uses A Little Bit O' Luck.  I have colored this beauty with Copics and cut out with Nestie.  I have used a bunch of different dies - Lin and Lene for tulip border, Couture creations for the overlaupped flowers, Sizzix, Lifestyle Crafts and Nestie for the die combo in bottom left.  Sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and cut with Nestie.  Bling flourish from Zva Creative and big bling flower from Darice.

For my card today, I chose Moon Cookie Gallery's "Springy Gnome" image.  I love coloring images with backgrounds/scenes, so I really enjoyed coloring this super fun image.  I chose to do a fancy fold this time, not sure what it's called, but I think it works really well to show off this image.  Image colored with Copics and cut with Nesties.  Ribbon is from Crop Stop, CS is Bazzill and CTMH, sentiment is from clear stamp and cut with Nestie.  Bling is from Prima.  Sure hope you like it and enjoy the rest of the hop!!
