Inspiration Post for My Whimisical Little World

Hello all and happy Monday!   I am here to share my inspiration piece using "Sympathy" from My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop.  Before I get to that, I just want to remind you that our challenge is still going on at My Whimsical Little World Challenge Blog.  Our theme is Anything Goes and you have til the end of the month to come play along.   While using an image from My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop is not required to play along, it will get you entered into our winner's draw twice instead of once!  Make sure you check out all the great images available at the shop!!

We would also love to see your My Whimsical Little World creations as well as have you play along in our Progressive Freebie challenge, all of which takes place on the My Whimsical Little World Facebook Group.

As stated above, you can find the image I used today "Sympathy" at My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop.

I am not certain the name of this fold or which blog I got the tutorial from, but I did find it on Pinterest.  It's a fun card to make and I think the appearance of it is awesome, I sure hope you like it!  Image has been colored with Copics and cut out with die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  DP is Kaisercraft,  Sentiment is from a wood block rubber stamp from my stash and cut out with Sizzix dies.  Flowers are from Prima.  I sure hope you like it!!

Hand Colored Image Challenge at Di's Digi Designs challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!   A relatively laid back week this past week as my kids were with their cousins most of the week and also the boys were at overnight camp for 4 days.  Evenings were much busier however, with lots of family get togethers.  This coming week will be back to "normal" as far as schedules, etc.  I notice I haven't posted here on the blog in a while, please forgive me for that, have been going through a kind of odd time - hoping to be back posting on a daily basis really soon.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS and it is Hand Color Your image - you can create whatever you like, but you must color your image by hand!  You have until 11:55pm EST on Friday, July 31 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win the 2 Di's Digi images.

I hope you will check out DI'S DIGI STAMPS as Di has so many wonderful images, many that would be perfect for our challenge.   You can also check out her CandiBean rubber stamps line - Set 7 has 2 parts to it - Part 1 can be purchased in US and Europe and is rubber, Part 2 are clear stamps and are available in UK only.  Hope you will check them out!

Today my creation uses one of the adorable images from DI’S DIGI STAMPS - "Izzy's Kite Time."  I have colored this gorgeous image with Copics and Sharpie paint pen and cut out with die from my stash.  I chose to make a variation on the typical tri-fold - found the template on Pinterest.  I used Basic Grey DP and added flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts and butterfly from Petaloo.  Sentiment is from Pink By Designs and cut with die from my stash.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

CELEBRATIONS CHALLENGE AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS CHALLENGE!

Happy Saturday to everyone!   A less busy week this past week, which was a nice change of pace for me.  I even got to sleep in on Thursday!  This weekend, however, is sure to be busy with our country celebrating Independence Day today and our women's soccer team playing in the final of the World Cup tomorrow night.  We will be having people over for both, so that means I will be making lots of food this weekend!

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS and it is Celebrations!  You have until 11:55pm EST on Friday, July 17 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win 2 images.

Today my creation uses one of the adorable images from DI’S DIGI STAMPS - "Izzys Cutie Pie."   A big slogan in the US is "baseball and apple pie" - 2 things which seem to go hand in hand here in the states, so this image reminded me of a 4th of July celebration and I was able to find this great DP from Best Creation.  Image is colored with Copics and cut out with MFT die.  Sentiment is from Echo Park and cut with Nestie.  Buttons are from Bag O Buttons.  I have tried another new fold, not sure it has a name, found it on Pinterest.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along in the challenge!!

Hello all and happy Wednesday!   I am super excited to announce that I am part of the Challenge DT for My Whimsical Little World and we have our New Monthly challenge beginning today.  We will have a New Challenge on the 1st of each month.  Theme is Anything Goes and although we'd love to see an image from My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop, it is not required to play along, however, using an image from My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop will get you entered into our winner's draw twice instead of once!  Make sure you check out all the great images available at the shop!!

You can find the image I used today Daddy's Little Girl at My Whimsical Little World Digi Shop.  I have colored this adorable image with Copics and cut out with Frantic Stamper die.  I chose buttons from Bag O Buttons, DP from Crate Papers and stickers from Jolee's Boutique.  The sentiment I used is from Papertrey Ink and is cut with a die from my stash.  I used a multi fold, as has been my M-O recently, I'm not sure if it has a name, but I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!
