CRAFT HOS' LOVE CHALLENGE

Well, it's SUPER BOWL Sunday!!  It's also time for a NEW CHALLENGE at CRAFTY HO's CHALLENGE and we sure hope you will play along!  You have until 11:59pm EST pn Saturday, Feb. 12 to complete your NEW project following our theme of LOVE and link it up at CRAFTY HO's CHALLENGE.

I have made a lot of Valentine's in the past few weeks and so for this card, I went a little "outside the box" by using some nontraditional Valentine colors.  I am really liking the way it turrned out!!  I hope you do too:)

Image is from JUST SOME LINES and is colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas then cut out with Lifestyle Crafts nesting dies, as are SU not quite navy circles.  DP is K and Co.  Blingy stars are Mark Richards.  Ribbon is from my stash.  Sentiment from StorageInks clear stamps, stamped in Staz-On black and cut with Nestie.  I hope you like it!!

VALENTINE'S CHALLENGE AT STAMPIT CRAZY!!

Hey everyone!  There's a NEW CHALLENGE at STAMPIT CRAZY BLOG this week and the rules are:
1. Make a New Card, Project, or page
2. Valentine Theme - Free for All
3. Have your card entered by Feb 12th, 5:00 central time at STAMPIT CRAZY BLOG

For my card, I chose SU pretty in pink CS, dark pink (cut in triangles and embossed with Sizzix folder) and gray textured Bazzill and Bo Bunny and SU DPs.  Sentiment is from Our Craft Lounge and is cut with SU punch.  Image cut with scissors.  STAMPIT CRAZY image colored with Copics and wings of Cupid decorated with Stickles.

Ok, I think this will be my last post today, although, I may put up my NEW BLOG candy later.  Stay tuned for that!!

With Friday, comes a NEW CHALLENGE at FAIRY KNOLL BLOG.  Our challenge this week is HEARTS.  I seem to be making a lot of cards with hearts lately - hmm, wonder why?!?  LOL.

I used one of FAIRY KNOLL's newer images - Sally with teddy bear in heart.  Cutting out the heart with my Nestie didn't go quite as smoothly as planned, but I still think it looks cute.  Image is colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas.  DP os Bo Bunny and base is Sparkly, textured Bazzill.  All cutting done with Nesties.  I hope you like it.  I added some ribbon from my stash to give it a little more excitement:)

For my card today, I used STAMP-N-DOODLE image "Kiss a lot of Frogs."  I love this fun image and had such a great time coloring all the frogs with my Copics and Atyou Spicas.

In real life, the sentiment "Happy Valentine's Day" from StorageUnit Inks clear stamps, is not smudgy, but I couldn't get a great photo of it for whatever reason.   Papers are SU pretty in pink and all DP is SU except pink embossed piece is SEI.  I used on of my newer Sizzix EFs.  Image cut with Nesties.  All other cutting done with my trimmer.  I hope you like it and that you enjoy our hop!!

Wow, being without an internet connection for 24 plus hrs. is INSANE!!  Really had no idea how much my connection to the world and life has to do with my being able to access the internet!  (Is that sad?!? LOL).

Anyway, I need to quit babbling so I can finish my posts and get to bed, but I just enjoy chatting.  I want to tell you about a BRAND NEW CHALLENGE blog and it is CARDMADFAIRY'S DIGI DAY CHALLENGE.  Not only is this our NEW CHALLENGE blog, but CARDMADFAIRY'S SHOP has also been moved here, all you need to do is click the link at the top of the page - one stop shopping, gotta love that!!

Thanks to the FABULOUS Gerda, owner and illustrator of STAMPFAIRY for allowing me to be GUEST DT for February over at STAMPFAIRY.  I just adore their sweet and fun images and am so thankful for this opportunity!  I am going to be part of the NEW RELEASE team this month.

It's a NEW RELEASE week this week at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP and this week is extra special because we have not 1 but 2 New Release sets!!  Our sets are Billy Blast Off and Pet Angels.  Both sets come with some FABULOUS images and sentiments, you don't want to miss them!  You can go to DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP and pick them up now.  As of now, digi downloads from DIGITAL DELIGHTS have no expiration date, so if you switch computers or lose a file, you can still re-download your images from DIGITAL DELIGHTS months later.

RAINBOW LADY'S CHALLENGE - HAPPY CHINESE (LUNAR) NEW YEAR

WOO HOO, I am back online!!  Wow, I never realized how dependant I have become on my computer until I had no internet access yesterday and I couldn't do anything!  Wound up actually cleaning my house!!;)  Also did some creating, went to the bowling alley with my kids so I could use WiFi there and not much else.  Thankfully, kids back to school today even if they do have a 2 hr. delay.

Time for another FUN CHALLENGE at RAINBOW LADY'S CHALLENGE and this week it's HAPPY CHINESE (LUNAR) NEW YEAR.  2011 is the Year of the Rabbit.   You may use an items you wish to create your card, just make sure it's NEW (no backlinking please) and that you enter is before 12pm EST on Weds., Feb. 9.

I chose this adorable rabbit image from DIGIS BY PHOOKA that I won from one of their challenges.  Definitely going to have to get more of these cuties!!  I think she's so cute with her little dress.  I copied her twice, colored with Copics and Atyou Spicas, cut with Nesites, daubed with SU Bravo Burgandy, used Stickles for balloons.  Buttons are from DeNami Designs, all DP is Basic Grey.  All CS is SU bravo burgandy.  Sentiment is computer generated and cut with SU punch.  Bottom piece is Nesties border die.  Ribbon is from my stash.  I hope you like it!

I have no internet!!

Happy Weds. afternoon all!  I am presently at a bowling alley to use their WIFI.  I have no cable or internet at home due to the ice storms that have come through 1/3 of the US.  I am pleased to see my autoposts went up this morning, however, once I leave here, I have no idea how long I will continue to be without internet access.  If you e-amil me and I do not respond, it is because I still cannot get online.  Additionally, if I have DT stuff scheduled to go "live" tomorrow and it does not go live, I have no way of knowing.  Hope all of you are safe and sound.  Peace and love!!

I used the FRESH BREWED DESIGNS image "Daisy the Elephant" for my card this week.  Daisy is so cute and she seems to me to be holding her arms out and saying "I love you this much," which is why I made this my sentiment.  Coloring is done with Copics.  SU tempting turquoise is base CS, all DP is SU, ribbon from my stash, flower from Prima, reddish paper is Bazzill textured.  Sentiment computer generated.  All shapes cut with Nesties.  Hope you like it!!

I am sitting in my computer room that has an outside wall to my right and am listening to the sound of ice falling off trees and crashing down.  It is so weird, this storm that has taken over a good part of the US.  My yard looks like an ice pond as far as the eye can see.  The dogs cannot get any traction when they go out to potty.  Right now, I am lucky we have power - my parents who live less than 10 miles away have no power.

Speaking of power, there is a NEW CHALLENGE today at DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY CHALLENGE BLOG and it is FLOWER POWER!!  I chose the Spring Fairy image from DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY SHOP this week.  I wish it were spring here!!
