FLOWERS GALORE CHALLENGE AT CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Weather here is still so dreary, I feel like spring will never come!  There is even more snow in the forecast for the weekend and early next week – ugh!

Enough of that though, we have our NEW CHALLENGE at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS starting today and it is FLOWERS GALORE!  Flowers are my favorite embellie so I had such fun making this card and I can’t wait to see what all of you create as well.

For my creation today, I have used CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS rubber stamp “Butterfly Girl.”  I love this precious stamp and she was so much fun to color with my Copics.  I then cut her out with scissors.  I have added Core-dinations CS and Bo Bunny DP.  I chose flowered papers and then added flowers too – roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and sparkly flower is from Prima.  Ribbon is American Crafts.  Sentiment is from a Gina K. rubber stamp and cut with Nestie.  Frame behind image also cut with Nestie.  Sure hope you like my card and will join our challenge!

We have a NEW CHALLENGE at DIGI DARLA'S CHALLENGE this week and it is EASTER! For my creation, I chose DIGI DARLA’S DESIGNS image “Bonnie book and bear.”  I thought this was a perfect image for an Easter card with the sweet basket of eggs sitting by and figured she was praying while reading The Bible.  Coloring done with Copics and image cut with scissors.  I have added Core-dinations papers DP from a book that came with one of my crafting magazines.  Stickers are from K and Co.  I used Nestie to cut scalloped circles and square and en embossing folder for embossed purple piece.  Sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and cut with Nestie.  Sure hope you like and will come

EASTER–ANYTHING BUT A CARD CHALLENGE AT PLATYPUS CREEK!

Hey everyone!   Hope you had a lovely weekend.  Mine was spent at my 12 year old son’s soccer tournament outdoors.  Yesterday wasn’t too bad – in the 50s for day game and cooler for evening game, but bearable.  This morning was quite cold and snowing, which was stinky, but the boys won today, so that was nice after tie and loss yesterday.  At the moment, I’m just glad to be in my house, bills paid, dinner eaten, kids’ lunches pack and kitchen cleaned, so I am blogging and crafting until bedtime!  YAY.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you this week at PLATYPUS CREEK BLOG and it is EASTER BUT NO CARDS – must be something OTHER THAN A CARD!  You do not have to use an image from PLATYPUS CREEK, but we’d sure love to see one!! Hope you will come play along!!

 

My card today features PLATYPUS CREEK image “Easter Ella” who I have colored with Copics and cut with Nestie.  I then daubed the edges of die with Memento inks.  Fence basket is cut file from My Scrap Chick, which I cut with my Pazzle.  I used Core-dinations CS and DP from DCWV.  I added some Easter grass and candy filled plastic eggs.  Sentiment is from a rubber stamp set in my stash and is cut with Nestie.  Hope you like it and will come play along!!

NEW CHALLENGE AT MILKCOFFEE - GO GREEN!

I’m sorry I’m a bit late with posting this NEW CHALLENGE at MILKCOFFEE CHALLENGE, but the week was busier than expected and we are away this weekend for my older son’s soccer tournament.  Thank goodness I have had some down time tonight which has allowed me to catch up on a bunch of stuff

Anyway, our NEW CHALLENGE over at MILKCOFFEE CHALLENGE is GO GREEN, so we want to see the color green or use something recycled (or both are of course acceptable!)  You have until 8pm EDT on Wednesday, March 27 to come play.  While we’d love to see you use an image from MILKCOFFEE SHOP, it is not required to play along in our challenges.  Hope you will come join us!!

For my creation, I chose MILKCOFFEE SHOP image “Fairy Tiffany.”  This image is just gorgeous and I had such fun coloring her with Copics and Reflections glitter pen.  I cut her out with scissors.  I added SU papers, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, DP from Kaisercraft, pearl from Prima and sentiment from Taylored Expressions cut with Taylored Expressions die.  I also used punches for the squares and scalloped piece.  Hope you like it.

For today’s creation, I have used one of INKY IMPRESSIONS awesome new digis “Umbrella LiLi” and one of the great corresponding sentiments also available at INKY IMPRESSIONS.    I have colored the image with Copics and cut out with scissors.  Paper behind image cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Papers are Core-dinations and SU CS and Prima DP, which goes perfectly with this image!   Top DP and CS piece cut with corner rounder punch.  Sentiment cut with scissors after formatting done in Word.  Prima pearls round out the card.  Sure hope you like it and enjoy the rest of the hop

NEW MINI RUBBER RELEASE AT LITTLE MISS MUFFET!!

Hi everyone!  Wow, busy week here on the blog and at home.  My kids are definitely getting tired of the cold as they all seem to have cabin fever despite the fact they go to school 5 days a week.  They are all whiney and crazy acting and I must have cabin fever too because I am getting stressed easier than usual.  Praying warmer weather and sunshine find their way here soon!

Happy Wednesday everyone and hope you are having a great first part of the week.   In my mind, I have been a day ahead all week – thought yesterday was Wednesday, keep thinking today is Thursday – ugh.  There’s snow here again this morning, which is making me quite unhappy.  I want spring NOW!!

We have a NEW CHALLENGE at INKY IMPRESSIONS CHALLENGE today and it’s to SHOW US BLUE in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness!  My hubby’s father died at a young age (52) from Colon Cancer, so this is a cause near to our hearts.   Cannot wait to see what you create this time.

Hello and happy Tuesday!   I am still tired from time change on Sunday, ugh.  Doggie goes in for his progress check today on his injuries.  I think they look much better, so he seems to be healing nicely, of course he still looks bizarre with one side of his head shaved except for around and on his ear.

Hello and happy Sunday!  We have had a time change this weekend, so have lost an hr. of sleepy time.  Oh well…  I have a great deal to catch up on today as the end of my week was pretty crazy.  My kids were off school on Weds. due to snow and that same day, my dogs got in a huge fight which landed one of them an overnight stay at the vet and an hrs. worth of stitching!  He’s doing much better now – we go back to check on his progress on Tues.  Needless to say, I didn’t get much done late in the week, so hoping to do some catching up today.
