FAITH FLOWERS FROM WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO

Hi everyone and happy Sunday.  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.   My kids had their first full week of school this past week, and it was nice to finally have some time to get my self sorted, although I am still a long way off from being completely organized.  I guess that day won't be coming for a long time! LOL

Anyway, today is my DT posting day at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO BLOG and I am sharing FAITH FLOWERS.  You can find this image at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO SHOP and it's available for Instant Download - woo hoo!!  I really enjoyed coloring this beautiful image.  All of Mabelle's images are such fun to color!

I have colored this sweetie with Copics.  I have been playing around with some more daring Copic color combos and techniques, and I hope you can see the results on this card.  I have used papers from DCWV DP and Bazzill CS.  I added a Prima flower and sentiment from A. Jillian Vance Designs that I think fits the image perfectly.  Image cut out with Nellie's dies.  Sentiment cut with Nestie.  Remember, FAITH FLOWERS and all the other of Mabelle's FABULOUS images are available at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO SHOP.

Hello and a quick post

Just want to welcome my new followers!  Thanks so much for joining me, so happy to have you here.  I am hoping to have some New Blog Candy very soon, but I'll update you on that later.  Right now, I just want to quickly share a new card I have made.  I am not super happy with the photo as it was taken at night and the lightening is not how I'd prefer, but I will retake it tomorrow and post the new pick.

This image is from FROM THE HEART STAMPS and I have colored it with Copics and Sakura pen.   I again used some of the techniques and color combos taken from my Copic classes that I have been taking online at CMC Classroom with Suzanne Dean.  The classes are awesome and I'm learning so much.  I have cut out image with Nesties, added a sentiment from MFT, which I think fits perfectly, flowers from Recollections and pearls from Doodlebug Designs.  My DP is SU and CS is from Bazzill. Sure hope you like it.

I also made a card with this week's Spotlight rubber stamp "Bandit Boy Tom."  Again, practicing some new ways to use my Copics - different color combos and really thinking about how the light is hitting the image, I colored this awesome image.  He is cut out using Nesties, buttons from SU and MFT added.  DP is also SU and CS is Bazzill.  Sentiment is from Cardz TV and cut out with Nestie.

NEW RELEASES AT LITTLE MISS MUFFET - MORE POLKA DOT PALS:)

Happy Thursday to all - it doesn't seem like it should be Thursday - with my kids being off school Monday and Tuesday, this week has gone WAY too fast!  It's been a pretty cruddy week as well - issue with 10 year old's soccer coach Monday (which turned into self-esteem issues for my sweet 10 yr. old), then 1 of my dogs got sprayed in the face by a skunk right before we were about to go to bed Monday night - and it was hubby's and my 18 year anniversary, which we pretty much didn't get to celebrate at all:(  Then yesterday, my 8 year old got new bedroom furniture and they brought wrong slats for mattresses TWICE (it's a bunk), so I was stuck home all day with people in my house for over 2 hours and I still have a big mess - matresses can't be put in the bed, so they are stacked up against her wall which means half her old and half her new furniture are in my upstairs hallway, which is now a maze and impossible to navigate in the dark plus 8 year old had to sleep on the floor b/c no bed!  Sheesh - I think I need to go run out in the street and do lots of Primal Screeming!!!
