Mood Board Challenge at Craftin Desert Divas Gallery

Hello and happy Thursday!  I am ready for the weekend, how about you?  I am also here to share my latest creation from CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS digis with you.

So, use the mood board to inspire your Craftin Desert Divas based project (you can use our clear or digi stamps as well as our dies).  Instructions are found under the FILES section at Craftin Desert Divas Gallery and make sure when sharing your project on other social media outlets, you use the hashtag #CDDMONTHLY.

 

My project is based on the mood board, I chose some soft pastel colors to make this diagonal gatefold creation.   

  This time I have chosen to use Bunny In A Basket digi stamp which you can find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

I colored the image with Copics, added dots on the bow with Sharpie paint pen and cut out with my scissors.  I used Bella Blvd. papers.

Sentiment, which you can find in the Animal Antics clear stamp set is cut out with a combination of the dies from Inside Scalloped Circle dies and Stitched in Circle dies sets and I popped out the smallest circle with pop up dots.  I added a magnet on the back so the card will stay closed.

For my card this week, I chose Shopping Girl digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop. I colored this amazing image with Copics and cut out with a stitched die from Nellie’s.

I chose a recessed window fold from a tutorial I found ages ago on Splitcoast Stampers.  My papers are from American Girl, sentiment from Your Next Stamp and cut out with MFT die.  I added flowers from I am Roses.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!  Hugs

I have a new project to share with you today.  This time I have chosen to use Best In Show Bunny digi stamp which you can find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

I colored and drew in background behind the image with Copics and cut out with Stitched In Circles die and paper behind image is also cut with a die from this set.

Card shape is cut out with Picture Frame die.

  I added more paper from Doodlebug Designs.   I chose my sentiment from a combo of words from Tiny Sentiments set.

Sentiment is cut out with smallest circle from Inside Scalloped Circle dies.

I added flowers from I Am Roses and 1 piece of bling from my stash to finish out my creation.  I sure hope you like it and that you will play along with our April Mood Board Challenge at Craftin Desert Divas Gallery!  Hugs

MY FIRST POST FOR CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS DIGI DT!

Hello to all my lovely friends and followers!  I hope you are all keeping well.  Life here has been pretty busy and will be continuously busy for about the next 4 weeks as lots of soccer will be played during that time and we are having some major work done on our home.  Anyway, I am super excited to announce that I am now part of CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS DIGI DT!!

Now I want to share my first DT project with you today.  I have used April’s Mood Board for my inspiration and I chose the image Lamb with Cross digi which you can find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

I love that the image comes with a sentiment as well because it typically takes me forever to search for the perfect sentiment, so having one that comes with the image is a huge advantage for me!

I colored and outlined/highlighted my image with Copics as well as sentiment and cut both out with my Cameo.  I added  paper from Doodlebug Designs behind both.  The other papers I chose are from my stash.  I used a crinkly ribbon and flowers from I Am Roses to finish out my creation.  I sure hope you like it and that you will play along with our April Mood Board Challenge at Craftin Desert Divas Gallery!  Hugs

MAKE IT DIGITAL Challenge at The Paper Shelter

For my card this week, I chose Charmy Bunny digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop. I colored this amazing image with Copics and Atyou Spicas, then cut out with my Cameo.

I chose a Silhouette file from Crafts U Print of an Easter basket card.  I weaved the papers from Echo Park through the slats in the basket.  I added buttons from my stash, as well as Doodlebug designs puffy flower sticker on the bow.  Sentiment is from Jaded Blossom, cut out with die from my stash.  All the other elements on this card are from the cut file.

I used this adorable image Down on the Farm from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This  image is colored with Copics and I cut it out with Pink Fresh Studio die.   I chose a sentiment from Reverse Confetti clear stamps, stamped with Tim Holtz Oxide ink and embossed with JudiKins embossing powder, heated and cut with Reverse Confetti die.  Papers are Heidi Grace, ribbon is SU and red paper is embossed with Darice embossing folder.

Happy 4th Anniversary Imagine That Digistamp!

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog – 3 days in a row posting, I think it’s a record for me these days!   Anyway, we are celebrating the 4th anniversary of Imagine That Digistamp Shop.  Make sure to visit the Imagine That Creative Playground blog where the Imagine That DT gals have been showing our very first DT creations as well as our favorite Imagine That Digistamp Shop images.

 

I joined the DT in April 2016, so I have been on the DT almost a year  My very first creation featured Leesa's Tulip, still one of my favorite images from Imagine That Digistamp.

I had a really hard time choosing my favorite image because I love all of them so much!  I especially love the image Kristy made for me Hippieaud, however, I have used this image so many times already that I thought I'd use one of my other favorite images for today's celebration.

So I used Steampunk Lizzy.  I love all the amazing details of this image and had so much fun coloring her with my Copics and Atyou Spicas.  I used "traditional" steampunk colors and I think the image really pops from these color choices.  I chose Bo Bunny papers, Kaisercraft wood embellies that I colored with my Copics and flowers from I Am Roses and Prima.  Sentiment, which also comes from Steampunk Lizzy set, is colored with Copics and cut out with my Cameo and then placed on a tag from the Bo Bunny paper I used.  I also added a nice piece of burlap under the sentiment.  Sure hope you like it!

Papers are DCWV, sentiment is a Taylored Expressions stamp stamped with Tim Holtz Distress ink and cut out with a die from my stash.  Card is made using a Tattered Lace die set.

Inspiration with Faery Ink–Spring Maiden Autumn Rose

I used this adorable image Flowery Penny from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This  image is colored with Copics and I cut it out with Stampendous die as well as the piece behind it.  I added dots around the image as a border.   I chose a sentiment from Alt New clear stamps and cut with Stampendous die.

Card pieces are done with dies from my stash as are buttons and butterfly.  I really enjoyed using the color green, I don’t use it much and I really loved experimenting with different green color combos.  Papers are K and Company.
