Normally my blog is used to post my creations for the DTs I am so proud to be part of and for the challenges in which I participate. This evening, I am using it to share something with all of you, my friends/followers. I read this great story in our local paper today about a woman who at age 34, and just returned from her honeymoon, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Her health initially began to deteriorate very rapidly until a close friend told her to stop thinking of herself and take 29 days to give away something each day. The things she gave away could be small - time to call an old friend, making a nice meal for her husband, or larger - some kind of monetary donation, etc. So, Cami, the woman with MS, started giving things away on daily basis and her attitude towards life and then her health improved. She is still fighting MS and is by no means cured, but her outlook on life is very positive now.
I know all of us have struggled in life whether it be personal, financial, family-related, work-related, etc. I just wanted to offer everyone a chance to hear this amazing story, which has turned into an actual organization and you can visit it here: http://www.29gifts.org/
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with this organization in any way, I just found it to be a happy, heart warming story that I wanted to share. However, in the spirit of the organization - I would like to give away 5 BOXES OF CRAFTING SUPPLIES! The FIRST FIVE people to post a comment to this post, will receive a prize box from me. Please leave your e-mail address. Only requirement is you must be a follower of my blog.
Thanks and God Bless:)
