NEW RELEASE DIGI IMAGE AT INKY IMPRESSIONS!

Another Tuesday post today – Tuesday is usually my “slow” day here on the blog, but this one is going to be busy!  It’s also supposed to be in the 80s here for the next few days, so I am hoping I will be more productive with some nicer weather

We have a NEW DIGI RELEASE for you today at INKY IMPRESSIONS and it is called "Lizzie's Bundle of Joy" and it is in part in recognition of Mother’s Day, which is celebrated May 12 in USA.  I sure hope you will stop by the INKY IMPRESSIONS CHALLENGE Blog and check out the rest of the DT projects for this release, they are wonderful!

For my creation, I have colored my INKY IMPRESSIONS image with Copics.  I tried to make the baby bear spotted on the face, but I think she just looks like she has chicken pox LOL  (note to self – need help adding spots to animals)  Image and frame cut with MFT dies as is banner.  Sentiment is from A. Jillian Vance Designs, flowers are Petaloo, bling is Bo Bunny.  I used an EK Success border punch for scalloped border.  Papers are Bazzill CS and SEI DP.  Sure hope you like it!!

Happy Monday everyone! As with all Mondays, I have just gotten up and I’m already tired!   At least this week the weather is supposed to be mostly sunny and consistently warm after a couple weeks of lots of grey and rain and varied temperatures, I am ready for consistency and sun!

Back from younger son’s first soccer game of the day – have another one in 3 hours.  Older son also playing 2 games today, but his games are an hr. from here, and I can’t be in 2 places at once!  So, I’m going to spend the next 3 hrs. defrosting my feet and hopefully getting in a nap.

For my card today, I chose this adorable image “Sssshh Bear Sleeping” from DI'S DIGI STAMPS.   I decided this would make a great Mother’s Day card and found this awesome Baby Onesie card template from Creations by AR (our sponsor).  I used Bazzill CS and Bo Bunny DP for my creation which I cut out with my Pazzle.  Image is colored with Copics and cut with scissors.  I added a brad from Bo Bunny to the center.  Sentiment on inside is from A. For my card, I used the AWESOME New "Family" Set from SAN'S DESIGNS SHOP.  I colored the image with Copics and printed the wording on Vellum, added some color with Copics and trimmed around the word with scissors.  I created the rest of the sentiment in Word and cut out with Sizzix die. Image and frame also cut with Sizzix die.  I used SU DP and cardstock from American Crafts.  Crinkled ribbon is from an Etsy shop that I found and added MFT button to center of bow I made.  Sure hope you like it and hope you have enjoyed the hop and the rest of the DT gals awesome work.

Designs and CS from American Crafts.  Flowers are Petaloo.  Image cut with Sizzix die and frame cut with Memory Box die.  Ribbon from this month’s club kit from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

MISS LILLY YUMMY FROM LITTLE BLUE BUTTON STAMPS

Hi everyone, today is my DT posting day over at LITTLE BLUE BUTTON STAMPS BLOG and I am  showing Miss Lilly Yummy - this image is just too cute and I couldn't resist working with her.  I adore Tracy's paper piecing card that was on the LITTLE BLUE BUTTON STAMPS BLOG yesterday and I decided to do something much different to show how versatile this cute image can be.

I have colored Miss Lilly with Copics and I colored the cake part and the cherry on the cupcake with Copics and for the frosting I used Liquid Pearls - doesn't it look yummy?!?:)  I chose a Sizzix die with cupcakes for my background and added DP from SU.  All circles cut with Lifestyle Crafts dies.  Stitched ribbon is from PaperMart and bling-y hearts are Prima.  I sure hope you like it!

My kids have a 2 hour delay today due to teacher meetings and they are fighting like mad and driving me crazy!  Hubby was out of town last night, and they fought all last night too.  It’s maddening and it makes me so annoyed then I just get exhausted from trying to deal with them and want to take a nap!

LACE AND PEARLS CHALLENGE AT CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

Happy Tuesday to all.  Before I start my post today, I just want to offer heartfelt sympathy to anyone who was affected by the tragedy that occurred during the Boston Marathon yesterday.  Such senseless acts bring so much destruction and sadness and are very difficult to comprehend.  May today be a better day .  Many prayers and hugs to all.
