LACY SUNSHINE - NORTH POLE CHALLENGE!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!   After a very cold week and snow, including a snow day on Monday for my kids, the weekend has warmed up a bit.  Also, the best news is that the heat in my daughter's apartment was fixed today which means I don't turn into icicles when I'm in my craft room now:)

I'm excited to announce we have a New Challenge starting today at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog and this fortnight it is NORTH POLE - winter, snow, snowflakes, icicles, candy canes, etc.  You can find it by visiting the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  Hope you will come play along!

We have a new category for our challenges - you may now enter with a colored image only in addition to card/project entries.  Colored images only are limited to one per person per challenge and a prize will be given for the colored image category.

We also have new "Loyalty Program" digi.   This time Heather is offering NORTH POLE ENCHANTRESS!  Make sure to check out all the image collections at Lacy Sunshine Shoppe!

My card today uses the loyalty program digi NORTH POLE ENCHANTRESS from Lacy Sunshine Shoppe.   I have colored her with Copics and Sakura pens, cut out with Wild Rose Studio die and added Stickles.  Snowflake die cuts done with Lifestyle Crafts die.  DP is Kaisercraft and CS is American Crafts.  Sentiment from Taylored Expressions is cut with Nestie.  Crystal bling is from Prima.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

FOR and/or WITH KIDS CHALLENGE AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS!

Happy Saturday to everyone!!  Hope your weekend has started off well.   I'm trying to slowly get back to crafting and posting creations, but I am very limited as I have no heat in the area of the house where my craft room is and it has been below freezing here.  My craft area is completely disorganized and I can't stay in there long enough to organize given the subzero temperatures.  We are hoping it will be fixed today, but not holding our breath on that one...

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS and it is FOR and/or WITH KIDS!  You have until 11:55pm EST on Friday, December 5, 2014 to come join the fun. Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize from Frantic Stamper  (winner pays shipping if any).

I hope you will check out DI'S DIGI STAMPS as Di has so many wonderful images, many that would be perfect for our challenge.   You can also check out her CandiBean rubber stamps line available at many online retailers - SET 5 is now available!!

Today my creation uses one of the newest images from DI’S DIGI STAMPS Swingin Penny.  I have colored this cutie and her squirrel friend with Copics and then cut out with Nesties.  DP is from DCWV and CS is American Crafts.  Sentiment is from Paper Sweeties and is cut with Nestie.  Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

NEW CHALLENGE AT FAERY INK!

Happy Monday - counting down to the big move on Friday and I am SO not organized enough!  Hubby moved lots this weekend, but I didn't get to go to the new place at all since I was busy packing up stuff here.  Feeling pretty overwhelmed at the moment and miss being able to craft every day.  I'm sure you are all sick of hearing about my move, so rest assured, it will be done by end of week:)

Anyway, we have a New Challenge for you starting today at FAERY INK CHALLENGE BLOG and if you pop over to the blog, you can see all the fabulous DT creations!  Our challenge this time is CHRISTMAS and you have 1 month to come play along!  You are not required to use an image from FAERY INK DESIGNS, but Amanda has so many awesome images for this theme, hope you will pop over and check them out!

My card today uses "Elf Fairy Cutie Gingerbread Man" from FAERY INK DESIGNS.  This image is gorgeous and was so much fun to color with my Copics, Atyou Spica and Sharpie pens and cut out with Nesties.  I added Stickles for the trim on her hat and top.  DP is Imaginiece abd CS is Bazzill, SU and American Crafts.  Sentiment is from My Craft Spot and cut with Crafter's Companion dies.  Glitter stockings are Jolee's Boutique.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

SPECIAL POST - WHIMSY DT CALL

Happy Day everyone!  1 week until the big move, but since we are only moving 10 minutes away, moving has taken all my time, more or less, over the past 2 weeks.  We are trying desparately to move everything except the big furniture before the movers come.  It has been slow going, largely because I have so much crafting stuff and I decided to go through all of it and reduce what I had prior to moving.  Good news - I have 8 boxes going to Goodwill, the other news (wouldn't necessarily call it bad LOL, it that I still have WAY too much stuff!!)

Anyway, I am posting today after almost 2 weeks with no posts because one of my very favorite shops, Whimsy Stamps Shop is having a DT Call for their rubber stamp and die DT and part of the application process is to post a project and let them know why I want to be on the Whimsy Stamps Shop DT.

As many of you who follow me know, I have served on the Whimsy Stamps Shop digital DT since January 2014.  I have loved every minute of it and adore all the artists, stamps, die cuts and much more found at Whimsy Stamps Shop.  Whimsy Stamps Shop has so many wonderful rubber stamp artists and I would love to be able to work with each and every one of them.

I pride myself on taking my time to provide well colored and photographed creations.  I put 110% effort into every project I make and don't ever cut corners to finish a project for the sake of completing it, if it's not up to my high standards I would rather start over than turn in something subpar.  You can rest assured that I always turn in my best product possible.  I love to work with a variety of artists, finding it fun and challenging to work with different artistic styles, especially those which may be out of my comfort zone.

I love meeting new people both within DTs and with fans of the shops I DT for on FB and other forums.  I honor my commitments by having my projects done on time and my posts done when they are supposed to be.  I take great pride and honor in serving in all the DTs of which I am a part, and would love to include Whimsy Stamps Shop DT as one of them.

Thanks so much for this opportunity.  My card created for the call features Wanda digi stamp from the Marika Collins Collection at Whimsy Stamps Shop.  I know it is past Halloween, but I really love this image and had started coloring it before Halloween and wanted to finish it.  I used Copis to color this beauty and cut her out with scissors.  I chose DP from Doodlebug Designs and CS from American Crafts and Bazzill.  Ribbon is from my stash, bat stickers are Little B and sentiment is from My Craft Spot and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Die behind the image is Joy! Crafts.  I sure hope you like it and thanks so much for looking!!

As part of my application for Whimsy Stamps Shop, I am showing to other images to demonstrate some different color combos.
