PEARLS/GEMS Challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER

Happy Wednesday, it's time for a New Challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.   If you are unfamiliar with The Paper Shelter Shop, I suggest that you go pay a visit, they have so many awesome images and they come with digi papers, backgrounds, etc.  Plus, there's a customer rewards program that is awesome.   Trust me, you will love it!!

For my card this week, I chose

Penguin Friends digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop, I colored it with Copics and cut out using my Cameo.

I loved coloring this adorable image.  I chose these lovely papers from Bo Bunny and bling from Want To Scrap, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, pearl snowflake and sparkly button from my stash.  Sentiment is from the paper I used.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!  Hugs

DESTINY CHRISTMAS AT THE BEACH–FAERY INK INSPIRATION

Hello everyone and Happy Monday!   Hope everyone had a great weekend.  All was great here, a break from soccer for the next few weekends, although we were still pretty busy – went to a great Halloween party Saturday night and got to enjoy some really lovely weather all weekend

 

I am here to share some Faery Ink inspiration with you today.   I have chosen the awesome digital stamp, Destiny Christmas at the Beach, this month for my inspiration post.  This stunning image can be found in the Faery Ink Shop, in fact she is BRAND NEW!    As always, Amanda's images from Faery Ink Shop are super fun to color - always so many options and often great scenery included in the image.

 

I really had fun coloring this image with my Copics.   Image is cut with my Cameo and then added to die cut background from MFT.  I added Stickles to her hat brim and pom and some embellie sea shells from my stash to go along with the beach theme.  This double pocket card is made from circles cut with my Cameo and then folded and trimmed.  Papers are from Bella Blvd.

Sentiment is from a clear stamp set and I chose this great double tag die cut from my stash to make the insert for the top pocket.  I added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Ribbon on bottom of card is also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Halloween and/or Orange, Black, Green, Purple Challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!    Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.   I love weekends, especially because they allow me the opportunity to sleep in!   Life is actually giving me a “breather” this weekend as the boys are on break from soccer for a few weeks.  I love soccer and watching my boys play,  but we have been so busy with it, it’s just nice to have some down time.

I used this adorable image “Don’t Be A Scaredy Cat” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This adorable image is colored with Copics and I used my Cameo to trace the image and then cut out with a slight border around the image.  Papers are from Basic Grey, sentiment is from Your Next Stamp and is cut out with Nestie.   Circle behind image is cut with Tattered Lace die.  Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, stickers and bling/pearl are from Recollections.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along in our Di's Digi Designs Challenge!!

For my creation, using Larry’s Penguin Costume,  I colored this awesome image of Larry and his penguin pal as well as the sentiment with Copics and cut both with my Cameo. 

I chose Doodlebug Designs papers, snowflake sticker and sparkly silver flower pick from my stash.  This is another fun fold, found it on Pinterest and think it showcases this set very nicely.

Our second New Release for today is the the adorable Tania’s Tree Costume.  This sweetie is just precious and I adore the sentiment choices!

For my creation, I chose the image and my favorite sentiment from the set (I like all the sentiments, but this one is my favorite).  Image is colored with with my Copics and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Sentiment is also colored with Copics and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.   I chose Doodlebug Designs papers and ribbon from my stash.  Image cut out is daubed with Memento Ink.

Our first New Release for today is the FABULOUS Li’l Drummer Boy – I absolutely love this image as the Li’l Drummer Boy is one of my very favorite Christmas songs.

For my creation, I chose the image including the Li’l Drummer boy with the long pom hat as well as one of the sentiments from this set.  Image is colored with with my Copics and cut out with Cameo.  Sentiment is also colored with Copics and cut with Cameo.  I added an eyelet from We R Memory Keepers, ribbon from my stash and sparkly bling from my stash.  Design papers are Simple Stories.

I am not sure the name of this fold I used, but I think it’s cool, especially since you can remove the tag portion which contains the image and use as a bookmark or present tag.

TIME FOR FAE OF THE MONTH AT FAERY INK!!

Today is our One Day Fae of the Month giveaway at Faery Ink and as always, this month's image is a AMAZING!  Her name is Aja Autumn Leaves Fae and you can find out all the details on how to claim your free image at Faery Ink Facebook Group and Faery Ink Blog.

I always love the Fae of the Month,

and this month’s is no exception, she is gorgeous and so much fun to color!

 

I chose a diamond fold card for this month’s Fae of the Month project and added some stunning Bo Bunny Autumn themed papers.  I additionally added ribbon from my stash and bling from Darice.

 

I colored this beauty with Copics using an Autumn color scheme to compliment the papers I chose.  Image is cut with Cameo.  I also added bling from Zva Creative.

This image is such fun to color.  I added papers from Bo Bunny’s Sweet Treats collection.  I found the sentiment from a Taylored Expressions rubber stamp, it is cut out a Sizzix die and I added a piece of bling from Darice.  I added ribbon from my stash and buttons from Buttonlovers as well.  I’m really happy with how it all came together.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!  Hugs
