MAKE IT DIGITAL at The Paper Shelter Challenge (and more internet woes)

Sorry to be a bit late this morning – still being plagued by internet woes - I was more or less without internet from 11pm Friday until late Sunday and even then, it was in and out since then - bad electrical storms fried our modem late Friday, new one got put in late afternoon Sat., but then due to some crazy wiring and other nonsense in our house, took me forever to get it running properly and it’s still quite inconsistent.  Ugh!

Happy Wednesday, it's time for a New Challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.   If you are unfamiliar with The Paper Shelter Shop, I suggest that you go pay a visit, they have so many awesome images and they come with digi papers, backgrounds, etc.  Plus, there's a customer rewards program that is awesome.   Trust me, you will love it!!   Don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter and you will get notices of all SALES and other SPECIALS going on! 

We also have a weekly challenge, with each DT team rotating weeks.  This week it’s Team Bs turn!  Challenge rules can be found here and our New Challenge can be found at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.   Our challenge this week is MAKE IT DIGITAL - Use a digital image and or digital designer papers on your creation.   A "just" computer generated sentiment won't do it.

For my card this week, I chose I Wish I Was There! digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop. I colored this amazing image with Copics and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.

My papers are Heartfelt Creations, I added flowers from I Am Roses and sea shells from my stash.  Sentiment is Stampendous and cut with Nellie’s dies, sand dollar is cut with Gina Marie designs die.

New Releases at Craftin Desert Divas and major internet frustration:(

Hello and happy Monday.  I am here to share my latest creation from CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS digis with you.   As I hope you’ve been following along with our CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS May New Release Event on FB, we have had sneak peeks since May 21 and the items officially released on May 27.  I was scheduled to share my release on that day, but due to weather and a whole bunch of subsequent issues, I have been without internet for over 48+ hrs. since about 11pm Friday night.

My New Release project today uses two of the newest digi images is available at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.  They are “Farmer Boy,” and “Farmer Girl Watering Plants.”

 

I combined the 2 images in my Cameo using the PNG versions of each.  Image and background all colored with my Copics.  The amazing NEW RELEASE dies were used to decorate the card – I made a pop up strip with several of the dies from each of the new sets

My project today uses one of the newest images which you will soon be able to find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.  It is called “Soak Up the Sun,” and it will be the next digi available for those of you signing up as “Going” to our NEW RELEASE Event – make sure you sign up to go by clicking HERE.

I colored this adorable image with Copics, and cut out with my Cameo.   I also used the sentiment from this set, which I cut out with scissors and then ran ink over before posting on a base cut with die from Tag Essential dies.

I chose papers from Photo Play, Echo Park and Best Creations.

For the top of the ice cream cone, I added Twinkle Sequins with glue and then put glossy accent over top.

TIC TAC TOE–3 In A Row–Challenge at Di’s Digi Designs

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.   I love weekends, and I got to sleep in today, so yay!!  Although I probably slept a little too late, but oh well…

I used this adorable image Clever Penny from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This image is colored with Copics and I cut it out with my Cameo.   Letters are from an SVG file from The Cutting Cafe.  I chose sentiments from Paper Smooches clear stamps, stamped with Distress ink and cut with die from Gina Marie Designs.  Papers are Stampin Up, bling from Prima, bling flourish from Zva Creative, ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

My project today is for the May Mood Board Challenge and uses Squirrel Garden digi stamp which you can find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

I colored the image with Copics, and cut out with dies from Fancy Frame Dies and Mix It Up Dies .  I then daubed with Ranger ink.  I added Photo Play papers which I cut out with dies from Fancy Frame Dies, Mix It Up Dies and Pocket Pieces HI Dies. 

I added a sentiment, which you can find in the Hello You clear stamp set and cut it out with dies from Stitched In Circles Die Set and Inside Scallop Circles Die Set.

My project today uses Painting Paris digi stamp which you can find at Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

I colored the image of the girl with Copics, and cut out with my Cameo.  I then used the paint palette image, duplicated it, copied it onto my Cameo and cut it out to create the card base.  I added Doodlebug Designs paper and glued on a paint brush from my stash. 

I added sentiments, which you can find in the Tiny Sentiments clear stamp set and stamped some on the paint color cut outs from the paint palette image.

I also used sentiments from this set on the inside of the card and cut out with a die from the Fancy Frame Die set.
