It's Me, Audrey, at DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS Shop!

Hi everyone!! I am here today to share this month's Spotlight image at Digi Doodle Studios Shop, which just happens to be a depiction of me and 3 of my chows (I have 4 now, but the most recent addition arrived after the image was drawn:)).   You can find Audrey in the Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  She has curly hair, glasses and a tie dye, and chows, just like me.

For reference, I have included a photo of the actual me as well as the 3 chows that I colored for the image this time.

So, what do you think - pretty good likeness, right?!?  I want to thank Digi Doodle Studios owner/artist Dina for drawing this image, it is such an awesome representation and I plan to use it often, I love it!

This time around, I colored Audrey for an anniversary card for my husband.  We recently celebrated our 22nd Anniversary and this image was absolutely the perfect choice for his card.  He loves the image as well.  If you click on the photo to see it closer, you'll notice the dogs tongues are purple.  Chows, and their distant relative the Shar Pei, are both Chinese dogs, and as such are blessed with unique purple or purple spotted tongues.

I used the following colors on my image:

I chose Doodlebug Design and Modo Scrap papers, ribbon from Silky Colors on Etsy.  I added buttons from Bag o' Buttons and bling from Darice and Doodlebug.  I stamped 2 different sentiments, top one from Impression Obsession and bottom 2 from HoneyBee, with VersaColor ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  Sentiment, image and backing paper are all cut with Tattered Lace dies.

Patti's Pumpkin Patch from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS

This week I am sharing my creation with the wonderful Patti's Pumpkin Patch digi image.   This image is stunning and was a joy to color with my Copics.  I loved being able to do the pumpkins and leaves in different colors and I always like to be able to add some ground to my coloring of the image.

Image is highligted with B44, B41 and B000 and blended out with Copic Colorless Blender.  I used E35, E33 and E30 for the ground.

I cut my image out with my a die from Gina Marie Designs as well as backing papers.  I used papers from Pebbles and Jillibean Soup, buttons from Bag o' Buttons, sentiment from Your Next Stamp which is also cut with Gina Marie Designs die.  I also made a fancy fold, not sure if it has an actual name for it.  Sure hope you like it.

For my creation today, using my New Release image “Autumn Day,” which you can find at DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS, I decided to make a decoration for my friend’s home for this Autumn season.  I love this image, it was really fun to color with my Copics.  I used the following combos in coloring “Autumn Day.”

I used various combos of YRs and Es for the pumpkins as well as the leaves, to which I also added some BG49, BG45, R39, R35 and YG95, YG93.

I colored the ground with E44, E43 and E42 and the sky with BG75, BG72, BG11.  I blended both out a bit with colorless blender solution in my water brush.

This wooden pumpkin is from Ashland Crafts and I picked it up from Michael’s.  There are decorative leaves and raffia added on the stem of the pumpkin.  I cut the image and backing paper with Nestie.  Sentiment, from Reverse Confetti, is stamped with Versa Fine ink and cut with Nestie from the same set I used for the image.

Autumn Challenge at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS Challenge

I used this adorable image “Swingin' Penny” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This image is colored with Copics and cut out with Nesties die.

I chose Basic Grey papers, sentiment from Pink and Main, also cut with Nesties.  I added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and bling from Leeza Gibbons.  I made this fun folds card and I think it really shows off this awesome image.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along in our Di's Digi Designs Challenge!!

Today I am sharing my Blushing Bride creation.   There are a number of weddings in our family over the next couple months so a great time to make my cards now and especially since discovering this amazing image.  I colored this beauty with my Copics.

For my card this week, I chose Adorable Halloween Witch digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this wonderful image with Copics, Atyou Spicas and cut out with dies from Hearfelt Creations.  I made a layered card using precut papers from Heartfelt Creations.

I chose a sentiment from a clear stamp set, cut with Nestie and used Versa Magic ink.  I added a pumpkin embellie from Recollections and ribbon on the spine of my card from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I added papers from Doodlebug Designs.  All circles throughout this multi layer card are cut with Heartfelt Creations dies.  On this page I added stickers from Jolee’s Boutique and Doodlebug.

Holly's Reindeer Hugs with DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to you all.   Hope you will pop on over to Digi Doodle Studios Blog to check out my post there today and also so you can check out what the other DT gals have been up to.  I wish for you all time to yourself, and hopefully some crafting time as well.   Life continues to be busy with my 3 younger kids all playing school sports and my oldest applying to colleges.  I think I get a wee break for the next couple days and it is much needed!!

Today I am sharing my Holly's Reindeer Hugs creation.  I just got new Christmas papers and embellies and decided I felt like doing something festive.  I used the following Copics on this stunning image:

Dress RV13, RV23, RV11, Boots use same combo but with RV06 added
Tights and Hat RV99, R39, R29
Reindeer  E49, E47, E44, E37, E35, E33, E31 and then I used duck cloth fabric with colorless blender solution to make the reindeer look furry.

I cut my image out with my Cameo and added Shimmer Texture Paste and prills for the snow and 2 different kinds of Stickles, Ice Stickles for the snow on the tree and regular Stickles for trim on Holly's dress and hat.

I highlighted the image using B000.  I chose papers from Bella Blvd. and my ornament strand is from Tiny Treasures.  Sentiment is an LDRS rubber stamp cut with tag die from my stash.  I added an eyelet and some hemp cord.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS Violinist Jane

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to you all.   Hope you will pop on over to Digi Doodle Studios Blog to check out my post there today and also so you can check out what the other DT gals have been up to.  I wish for you all time to yourself, and hopefully some crafting time as well.   Another busy week here, although having a holiday Monday was definitely helpful!

Today I'd like you to meet Violinist Jane, such a lovely image and I adore her birdy friend.   I colored this wonderful image with my Copics and a few Atyou Spicas for some sparkle on the heart on her violin, the bird's wing and beak as well as the tuning pieces on the violin.  I used the following Copics:

For my card this week, I chose Enchanted Serenade digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.  

I colored this amazing image with Copics and cut it out with my Cameo as well as the paper behind it.   I chose papers from Bo Bunny, Tim Holtz and Paper Wishes.  I made a cross fold, not sure if there’s a name for it.  I added buttons from Bag O’ Buttons to the front.

My sentiment is from My Craft Spot  and is cut out with Nellies die set.   Click on the photo to see the sentiment more clearly – it goes so nicely with the image.

Here is the inside of the card.  I also added bling flourishes and music notes from Jolee’s Boutique.
