It's been awhile since I've had a creation. Finally have one this time. Our older son graduated from high school on May 18 and we had a huge party for him and 11 of his friends. It was awesome, but took a lot of time and energy and then about 2 days to clean up from it!
Our property was hit by 2 tornados about 15 minutes apart on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th. We spent an entire week with no power and no water because we are on a well that is powered electrically. With 6 humans and 5 dogs living here, it was quite a bad week and was really hot here. Also because of all the destruction, we couldn't get out of our driveway for an entire week - fallen trees everywhere and downed power line laying right across our driveway entrance. We were super fortunate to not have any damage to our house itself, just our property, but we lost over 100 trees:( Many people here have been displaced from their homes and some homes had to be completely demolished b/c no way to fix them. The area is still under major clean up/repair.
Last but not least, my boys and I traveled with a group of 16 other boys and 8 other adults from our area to London and Manchester, England and Edinburg, Scotland. It was a wonderful trip and our first time in Europe. The boys got to play soccer against local competition and we visited many football (soccer) stadiums and historical sites. We were gone for 10 days, which went way too fast. I hope to go back to Europe again.
So now we are back home and all will be crazy again in less than 2 weeks as my husband is having double knee replacement surgery. Please pray that all goes well.
Anyway, happy Saturday to everyone! Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.

I used this adorable image “Mermaid Izzy” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS. This image is colored with Copics and cut out my Cameo.
I chose papers from Doodlebug Designs and cut shapes out with my Cameo. I also added seashells and sand dollars from my stash. Sentiment is a clear stamp and cut with die from my stash. Sure hope you like it and will come play along at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS Challenge!

Aud, your card is just gorgeous as usual. WOW you have so much going on. Just glad that you and your family is safe. Congrats to your eldest on his graduation. What a fun trip for you to go on to Europe. And best wishes and prayers to your husband for his knee surgery. Just hope that he has been practicing with crutches so he is prepared. Hugs.
What a busy time you have had, I hope your power and water has not caused major problems amd that you can get back to normal again. Sounds like a great trip for you as well
Wow!! What a fabulous card! The bright colors are so fun with this sweet image (one of my favorites!).
Oh my goodness, you have had a lot on your plate! Prayers that all goes will with your husband!
Your card is adorable and that image is the sweetest (amazing coloring too!). Hope you find some 'you' time to calm your soul!
