CARDMADFAIRY'S WEDDING CHALLENGE

Well, today is the day for the Royal Wedding in the UK.  Are you watching it?  Recording it?  I am sure I will watch some of it either on the computer or the tv.  In honor of the Royal Wedding, CARDMADFAIRY CHALLENGE is a wedding challenge.  We are sponsored this week by WHOOPSI DAISY DESIGNS and I have chosen to use an image from WHOOPSI DAISY sheet 209.

To join our DIGI DAYS with CARDMADFAIRY Challenge, create a project using the challenge theme and enter it by Thurs., May 12.  You MUST use a digi.  You are allowed to enter our challenge once with any image or multiple times with a CARDMADFAIRY image.   Can't wait to see what you create!

My card this week features SEW MANY CARDS image "Donkey with Flower on Head."  I colored it with Copics and cut with scissors.  I used Nesties for the shape cuts, American Crafts glitter buttons, sentiment from Fiskars that says "Party Time and flower from Prima.  DP is DCWV and all cardstock is Coredinations.  I hope you like it!!

DIGITAL DELIGHTS - THURSDAY SHOWCASE

Good morning and welcome to another Thursday showcase with DIGITAL DELIGHTS.  Since many people are focusing on the upcoming wedding in the UK (tomorrow my time), I thought a wedding card seemed appropriate this week.  Therefore, I chose Madison the Bride and Brady the Groom as well as a blank circular sentiment from DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.   I added "Congratulations" to the blank sentiment and cut using nesties then added some color with Copics.  Images are also colored with Copics as well as Atyou Spicas.  Bling and flowers are from Prima, lace from JoAnn, ribbon for bow from stash.  All other shapes cut with Nesties as well.  DP from Echo Park (grey) and my stash (flowered).  Purple piece is American Crafts textured and is embossed with Cuttlebug folder.  I hope you like it!!

Welcome to another Tuesday with SOFTPENCIL STUDIOS!!  I hope everyone is having better weather than us - we have had such massive amounts of rain that I am beginning to think I will never see the precious sun again!  I think all the rain has caused me to create a bright and cheerful card in hopes that better weather is on its way:)

Today, the SOFTPENCIL STUDIOS DT is using "Growing Flowers in Pots."  I colored this super cute image with Copics and cut out using Nesties.  Flowers are from Recollections, Bling from Mark Richards, DP from K and Co., sparkly layer from Marco's Paper and base CS from American Crafts textured.  Sentiment is from TPC Studio clear stamp, stamped in timber brown Staz-On and daubed with Tim Holtz distress ink.

For my card, I chose to try a tent card and found a tutorial by Beate Johns on Splitcaost Stampers.  This is a super easy but very adorable fold - I recommend you try it!!  I used Coredinations and Bazzill textured and SU CS and Cloud 9 Design DP.  Sentiment is from Fiskars clear stamps.  All cut outs are Nesties and pearls are from Prima.  WHOOPSI DAISY image from Sheet #  is colored with Copics.  Hope you like it and you will come play along:)

NEW CHALLENGE AT STAMP INSANITY!!

We have a NEW CHALLENGE this week at STAMP INSANITY and our theme this week is HEAVY METAL!  What does that mean you may wonder?!?  Well, just use metal somewhere on your card - actual metal sheets (they look awesome embossed with EF), brads, eyelets...  You get the idea! 

You do not need to use a STAMP INSANITY image to enter our challenge, but we'd sure LOVE to see one!!  You have until Weds., May 4 to link up your creation at STAMP INSANITY.  Can't wait to see what you make:)

Hi everyone and welcome to an addition of RAINBOW LADY'S CHALLENGE and this week our challenge is SWEET TREATS for Easter.  You can use any image you'd like for our challenge, just make sure you link up your NEW creation at RAINBOW LADY'S CHALLENGE by next Weds., April 27.   Limit of 2 entries per person please.

Now, I know most of think of chocolate or Peeps or jelly beans as Easter Sweet treats, but I chose strawberries!  There are 2 reasons for this 1.  I LOVE this image of "Strawberry Lou" from DI's DIGI DOWNLOADS and 2.  I am trying to get my children to choose healthy alternatives for dessert, so I thought I should practice what I preach!!

I have colored this ADORABLE image with Copics as learned in my class.  I am so excited the direction my coloring is taking.  Lace is from JoAnn, sentiment from Our Craft Lounge rubber stamp.  All shapes cut with Nesties.  Butterfly is K and Co.  Buttons are American Crafts and organdy ribbon is from my stash.  DP is Ka and Co and pink paper is Bazzill textured and purple is from Marco's Papers.

Good day everyone!!  My post is a bit late because once again, we were plagued by storms last night which disconnected us from the internet.  I really hope we have seen the last of this rain for a while - the ground here is far too saturated.

Anyway, there's a NEW CHALLENGE today at DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY and our theme is PEARLS and SWIRLS (and a bit of romance if possible).  I chose to work with "Friendship Is" image for DIGSTAMPS 4 JOY SHOP this week.  I love this very sweet image!
