SNOW/SNOWFLAKES PLUS SPARKLE AND/OR GLITTER AT MILKCOFFEE!

We have a NEW CHALLENGE going on at MILKCOFFEE CHALLENGE and it is SNOW/SNOWFLAKES PLUS SPARKLE and/or GLITTER – as long as it has something snow related and some sparkly or glittery element, it will qualify for our challenge. You have until Weds., January 30 at 8pm EST to come join us. You don’t have to use an image from MILKCOFFEE SHOP, but we’d sure love to see one.

For my creation, I have chosen to make an ornament and have used MILKCOFFEE SHOP image “Skiing Girl.”  I have colored her with Copics and Sakura pens, added Aleen’s snowy stuff and Stickles then cut out with scissors.  Die cuts are from Sizzix, DP from Gina K., CS from Bazzill, sentiment is from My Craft Spot and cut with Amuse die.  Snowflake cut with Sizzix die and sticker added to center.  Ribbon from my stash and pearls from Martha Stewart Crafts.   Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

For today’s creation, I have used one of INKY IMPRESSIONS awesome new digis “Angelica Crafting.”  Isn’t she adorable?!?  I colored my image with Copics and Sakura pen.  I added DP from Bo Bunny and buttons from MFT.  I also used papers from American Crafts, Bazzill and Gina K., sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Rounded edges done with corner rounder.  Sure hope you like it and enjoy the rest of the hop!

ALCOHOL INK TUTORIAL FOR INKY IMPRESSIONS

Happy Monday (which seems like a contradiction in terms LOL)   I have a new tutorial on INKY IMPRESSIONS INSPIRATIONS BLOG on how to make a background using alcohol inks.  I hope you will check out the full tutorial over there.

 I put together the rest of my card by affixing the image, base, etc. to my newly created background.   I chose INKY IMPRESSIONS SHOP rubber stamp "LiLi's Birthday Cake" which I colored with Copics, Sakura and Atyou Spica Pens.  I cut her out with Sizzix die, added papers from Gina K. NEW RELEASES AT LITTLE MISS MUFFET!

I am a little late in my posts from Thursday. My hubby’s entire family – 35 of us in all – spent New Year’s in the Bahamas. It was an amazing, once in a lifetime trip that we were all able to share and I am so fortunate to have been able to go with my hubby and our 4 kids. We got back late Wednesday and then the kids were back to school on Thursday and I had grocery, unpacking, laundry, etc., so I am still catching up a wee bit on posting.

Designs, DP from K and Co. and ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel.  Buttons are from Papertrey Ink.  I am pretty certain I followed an old sketch for this, but I cannot remember where the sketch was from.  Sure hope you like it
