REMINDER - HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE AT JUST SOME LINES

Hey everyone! I'm here with your mid-challenge reminder for JUST SOME LINES BLOG:) Our challenge this time around is HALLOWEEN! You can get to your challenge by clicking the Challenge Badge on the left sidebar on the JUST SOME LINES BLOG, or by clicking HERE. We sure hope you will come play along, we have so many awesome entries already, but we want to see more:)

For my reminder inspiration, I decided to use an image that would not be a "typical" Halloween image and make a card with it. Earlier in the week, I took a traditional Halloween image and used non-traditional colors, so I reversed that this time:)

I chose Emo Amber and Alek sitting and colored them with Copics. I added Halloween colors using papers from Bazzill, Coredinations, Cloud 9 Design and Bo Bunny. Spiders in webs are Recollections, sentiment from Northwoods rubber stamp and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die. Image and backing cut with Nesties. Flowers and bling from Prima. Image can be found at JUST SOME LINES SHOP.

Don't forget to come play in our challenge - ends at 11:59pm on Fri., Nov. 4.

For today's card, I decided on something a little different - it's a "peek-a-boo" type card - my bookmark peeks out from the center image.  I am really excited how this turned out:)  All DP is from Echo Park and all CS is from Bazzill.  I chose DIGITAL DELIGHTS images Aliana witch and Franky topper as well as DIGITAL DELIGHTS circular "Boo to You" sentiment and "Witching you..." sentiment.  I colored my images with Copics and Fiskars glitter gel pens.  I used Nesties to cut the circle and Lifestyle Crafts die for Sentiment.  Franky topper is cut with scissors.  I daubed Ranger Distress Ink over the sentiment, using die cut as a guide.  Spider on web is from Recollections.

Hey everyone!  Wow, lots of catching up to do today.  Was gone most of the weekend watching my boys play in a soccer tournament.  There were a lot of special things about this particular tournament:

2.  the bigger of our two club tournaments, meaning our soccer club puts on the whole tournament
3.  my hubby (boys' dad) is on the board for the tournament
