For my project this week, I have chosen LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS image Bandit Boy Gavin in winter.  I have colored him with Copics and Sakura pens and added Stickles for the snow.  I fussy cut out the image.  Papers are American Crafts, Gina K. Designs and DP is Bo Bunny.  I added embellies from Jolee’s Boutique (snowflake) and Martha Stewart Crafts (hat and gloves).  Sparkly ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel, faux stitching done with Sakura pen and sentiment from Taylored Expressions and cut with MFT die.  Hope you like it and will come play along!!

It’s another Christmas card to share today and this one is using an image from MELONHEADZ ILLUSTRATIONS.  If you haven’t checked out MELONHEADZ ILLUSTRATIONS yet, you definitely should, it features amazing bundles of images from Illustrator/Owner Nikki and are available in black and white or color versions. NEW CHALLENGE AT WHOOPSI DAISY–CELEBRATE!!

Hello everyone!  As you can imagine, life has been quite busy and now it’s officially Christmas here in USA, although it is just past midnight, so no kids up and no opening presents for at least about 6 hrs.  I want to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a safe, healthy and happy New Year!  I wish I could go to all your blogs individually and spread some Christmas cheer, but that’s not going to happen, so I will wish it collectively here

For today’s card, I used this beauty from WHOOPSI DAISY SHOP Sheet 412.  I think she is so sweet.  I went with papers from Gina K and Bo Bunny DP, some fabulous new ribbon from Inky Impressions, and of course, colored with my trusty Copics and added some Sakura glaze pen.  Image cut with Lifestyle Crafts die, MFT die used for scallop border, Lifestyle Crafts die used to cut sentiment from Lizzie Anne Designs.  I also used my corner rounder punch.  Sure hope you like it and will come join our challenge!!

HOLIDAY CHEER WITH EMBOSSING CHALLENGE AT DIGI DARLAS!

Happy Monday morning everyone!   Before I get to the challenge announcement, I just want to take a few minutes to comment and reflect on the Newton, Conn. tragedy.   I do not live in Connecticut and I do not personally know anyone who was directly involved in this senseless killing spree, however, I have been affected very deeply by this horrid incident.  I am not sure if it hit so close to home because I have young, elementary age school children, because I have spent many, many years volunteering at the elementary or what, but I have been in great despair over the events that occurred on Fri.  I want to send my heartfelt prayers and sympathy to anyone who lost someone and to those whose lives were taken by such a ruthless and senseless act, words cannot express the sadness I feel.  I am hoping that any happiness that comes with the holidays can be salvaged for those grieving over these horrible losses.  God Bless us everyone!

NEW CREATION USING JEN'S DIGI STAMPS:)

Hey everyone!  I am away for a couple days while my husband is attending a work seminar.  It is the first time in what seems like months, although is probably only a few weeks, that I've been able to "relax."  I made a bunch of cards before I left and I want to share some of them with you over the coming days.


My first creation is using "Cottan and Candy as Santa" from JEN'S DIGIS Christmas collection.  I have colored them with Copics, using a slightly muted take on traditional Christmas colors and then added Stickles for the fur trim on their hats and Candy's dress.  I added a flower from Petaloo, lace from Webster's Pages and bling from Darice.  The papers I used are from K and Co. and American Crafts CS.  Sentiment is from Jaded Blossom clear stamps.  Circle is cut wit Nestie.  Sure hope you like it and hope it provides some inspiration:)

For my creation this week, I have chosen INKY IMPRESSIONS “WINTER FASHION MARLEE” – I had originally colored her with my Copics last week for my tutorial on adding a brick wall.  I cut her out with Nesties and made a Chrismtas tag.  I used Nesties for all the layers from the same set – even for the sentiment.  I used DP from Carta Bella from last year, a very old Basic Grey button with twine and charm from Inky Impressions affixed.  Both my sparkly flower from Petaloo and the blingy flower from Darice that’s in the middle have been part of my stash for ages and sentiment is from an old Papertrey Ink set.  Ribbon on top from The Ribbon Carousel.  Hope you like it and will come play along!!
