SEW MANY CARDS WINTER CHALLENGE

Here in Ohio, the weather outside is frightful, I hope it's delightful where you are living or visiting during this time of year:)  Today is my kids' last day of school until 2011!  They have missed 2 days this week due to snow so it has gotten me quite far behind as far as holiday preparations go.  But, it has been nice to be inside and not out in the cold.

Anyway, I will stop babbling and let you know about our NEW CHALLENGE at SEW MANY CARDS CHALLENGE BLOG and it is WINTER.  No mistaking it, we are definitely right in the thick of winter here in the midwest!  So, show us your winter cards by linking them up at SEW MANY CARDS CHALLENGE BLOG by 11:59pm EST next Wednesday, Dec. 22.  You are not required to use an SMC image, but must use a digi and we'd love to see an SMC image if you have one!

For my card this week, I used the SEW MANY CARDS image of Eris the Elephant baking.  It looks from his recipe that he is baking Gingerbread cookies.  I have colored my image with Aytou Spicas and Copics and cut out using Nesties.  Echo Park paper also cut using Nesties.  Sparkly snowflakes are from my stash.  Sentiment is computer generated and cut with Nesties.  Sequin elastic is from Hobby lobby.  SU not quite navy is embossed with Sizzix snowflake EF and mounted on SU baja breeze.  I hope you like it and that you will come play at our challenge:)
