My DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP image is “Peeking Ginger Baby” and I have colored this cutie with Copics and cut her using Nesties.  I added a sentiment from the Magical Winter Sentiments set, which is also available in DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.  I cut sentiment with Nestie and daubed with Memento ink.  I added Petaloo flowers, lace from Hobby Lobby, bling from Zva Creative, DP from K and Co. and CS from American Crafts.  Hope you like it!!

For my project this week, I have chosen LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS image Mitten and have made a Christmas ornament.  For the image, I have colored with Copics and added Flower Soft for the trim on the stocking.  I affixed the image to the ornament with some hardware, a brad and ribbon.  Ornament is a clear plastic ornament from Michaels that I have covered with Cloud 9 Designs torn scraps, daubed with Memento Ink and then glued on with Mod Podge.  I added some ribbon to hang ornament from Taylored Expressions.  Sentiment is from Taylored Expressions, cut with Nestie and daubed with Memento ink.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

For my creation this week, I have chosen INKY IMPRESSIONS “Maddie the Elf” and chose to do a vintage card.   I love this sweet image and colored it with Copics ad Sakura glaze and added some Stickles for the trim on her top and pom on her hat.  Image and frame cut with Nesties, sentiment from Taylored Expressions is cut with Nestie.  Pearls are from I Want 2 Scrap, papers from American Crafts and DP from Cloud 9 Design.  I used an embossing folder that came with my Papercrafts magazine for the snowflakes border at the top.  Hope you like it!

Hello everyone –  sorry I haven’t been around for a couple days – the Thanksgiving Holiday really put me back a bit.  But, here I am now and it’s time for our NEW CHALLENGE at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS.    Our challenge this week is to use RED, WHITE AND GREEN in your creations.  With Christmas right around the corner, this should be no trouble at all:)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING WITH THE DIGI GARDEN!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you who celebrate.  Here in the US it has typically been a day of food and family, but it is starting to turn into another day of shopping bargains!  Many of the stores here that traditionally were closed for the holiday are open this year for part of today or open late tonight and stay open all night!

My project for today uses PIXIE DUST STUDIO SHOP image “Pixie's Gingerbread Friends."   I have colored this adorable image with Copics and Sakura Souffle pens and cut out with Nestie.  CS is American Crafts and DP is from my massive stash of holiday themed papers.  I used a Sizzix embossing folder and Taylored Expressions die on pink paper.  Sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and cut out with Nesties.

TEXTILES CHALLENGE AT LITTLE MISS MUFFET!

For my project this week, I have chosen LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS rubber stamp “Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot.”  I love this sweet image and I had a great time coloring her with my Copics.  I went with a nontraditional color scheme for me, which was really fun and I really like how she turned out  I cut her out with Nesties and backing piece is cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Sentiment is from My Craft Spot and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die.  I used mesh ribbon and lace with velvet running through the middle from my stash as well as embroidary floss and buttons from my stash.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  DP from Bella Blvd. and CS from Bazzill.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!

PASTEL COLORS AT WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE

Hello everyone and Happy Monday!  It is raining cats and dogs here and the temperatures are dropping and it is my grocery day – which I am so not looking forward to!  But, we do have a FUN, NEW CHALLENGE over at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE this week and it is PASTEL COLORS.  Those who follow my blog regularly know that I am not a huge fan of pastel colors, largely because I don’t think I am very good at creating with them – they are outside my comfort zone – but, you also know I am always up for a good challenge!

JEN’S DIGIS FIRST DT CARD

Today is my first post as DT for newly re-opened JEN'S DIGIS.  I hope you have checked out JEN’S DIGIS and if you haven’t, I strongly suggest you do – Jen has some great images with more being released all the time and they are super fun to color and create with!

For my creation today, I have used one of the Thanksgiving images – it is not on display in the shop yet, but can be purchased by e-mailing Jen or Tanya at jensdigis@yahoo.com.  I have colored the image with Copics and cut with Lifestyle Crafts dies.  I added faux stitching to 1/2 circle using Staedler pen.  Papers and ribbon are SU, except orange piece which is Bo Bunny.  Sentiment from Taylored Expressions is cut with Memory Box die and 1/2 circles cut with MFT die and cut in 1/2.  Sure hope you like it and will come check out JEN’S DIGIS.

FABULOUS FALL COLORS CHALLENGE AT PIXIE DUST STUDIO

Hope you are having a happy Friday (although I guess it’s technically Saturday since it’s after midnight).  I hate to keep bringing up sad things on the blog, but I can’t always escape real life, and often it is more liberating to discuss things happening and possibly getting me down.  Tonight was the viewing for 2 of the 3 girls killed in the car accident last Saturday night and the first time my son saw his teammate – brother of one of the girls.  It was very sad and emotional and I am somewhat “fried” right now in terms of emotion, but tomorrow is a new day and I am just thankful for each day and moment I get to spend with my family and those close to me.

So, I want to tell you about our current challenge for PIXIE DUST STUDIO CHALLENGE and it is FABULOUS FALL COLORS.   We are looking for creations with deep yellows, oranges, reds, browns, etc., basically any color you associate with Fall.  You have until Weds., November 14 at 11:59pm EST to come join us.
