NEW CHALLENGE AT DELIGHTFUL CHALLENGES - MAKE A WISH!!

Hello everyone!  I'm hoping that today marks the return to more consistent blogging for me.  As most of you may know, our main computer died a very slow and agonizing death which began about 3 or so weeks ago.  It was in and out of the shop and they could never fix it, although they also claimed they failed to replicate the issue, which was it shutting itself down after only 10 mins. each time it was turned on.  So, I wound up having to spring for a new computer, which has Windows 8 as Windows 7 is no longer available on new computers and it has been a great learning curve as well as somewhat of a nightmare trying to get used to it.  The main huge difference is that the program I used to use for blogging - Windows Live Writer - is basically nonexistent now and it has taken time for me to come to terms with that (pathetic I know, but I'm not a huge fan of change!)  Also, the setting up, restoring and reloading files to the new computer is still an ongoing process, although I am getting there!  One final note is that I amassed over 400 e-mails throughout the time I was without consistent computer time, and while I have had this number down under 60 at times this week, I am STILL not completely through them, so if you did e-mail me and have not heard back, please be patient with me, I should have everything answered by the weekend.

First up, I have chosen "Clover Snowflake Kisses" rubber stamp.  I think this image is so beautiful,  I have colored her with Copics and Sakura glitter pen and added Stickles for the trim on her outfit and hat.  I picked DP from Echo Park, CS from Bazzill and ribbon from American Crafts.  Image is cut with Lil Inkers die and sentiment from My Craft Spot cut with Nestie.  Snowflake sticker is from Martha Stewart.

For my next card, I have chosen "Chester Loves Christmas" digi stamp which I have colored with Copics and again added Stickles for areas of fur trim.  Image cut with Lifestyle Crafts die, DP is Cloud 9 Designs, flowers are Petaloo (smaller) and Prima (large flower).  I used Bazzill CS and sentiment from S & P Company, which is cut with Nesties.

My final creation for today features our Freebie Friday image, although I suppose it's Freebie Tuesday, LOL.  This image is "Polka Dot Pals Girl Glasses" and is a digi.  I have colored the image with Copics and cut with Nellie's die.  DP is Basic Grey and Bazzill CS rounds out the paper choices.  I added bling from my stash and buttons from Bag O Buttons.  Sentiment is computer generated and cut with Taylored Expressions die.

BOY BIRTHDAY CARD WITH WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO

Hi everyone! I am posting my most recent creation from WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO SHOP today as well as sharing it on the WHIMSY AND STARS BLOG. I am a wee bit later than hoped because I did get a new computer on Thursday and finally began installing everything yesterday, but I am on Windows 8 now and ALL the programs that I used before are different and it is taking me a bit to figure everything out. I am having tons of trouble with the picture editor and blogging stuff:(

Happy Saturday everyone!  Sorry I have not been blogging/entering challenges, etc. as much here recently – my main computer, which was in the shop twice this week – has pretty much died.  I am annoyed because it is not that old (less than 3 yrs. and I have so much info. on there, I sadly am feeling lost without it).  Good news is that I am getting a new computer, bad news is it won’t be in til late next week and then I will need to set it up and transfer all my files, programs, reset the network, connect to printer, etc.  Ugh, lots of work ahead!

I am a bit late posting my creation for the NEW NUTCRAFTERS challenge – sorry for that.  Our main computer came home today and I was on it for about 1/2 hr. before it shut itself down again and then I couldn’t get it to stay on for more than 5 minutes at a time, so back to the shop it went – boo!

My preview image today is “Christmas Pudding” and I have made a little easel drawer box.  This has become one of my favorite non-card projects – thanks Leanne at Yumi and Fumi Handmade for the tutorial.   I have colored my CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS image with Copics and added Stickles for the fur trim and pom on the hat then cut with Nesties.  Papers are DP from Echo Park and Bazzill CS.  Snowflake on top of box is Jolee’s Boutique and brads on drawers are from Bo Bunny.  I sure hope you like it.

For my creation today, I have used CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS NEW RELEASE rubber stamp “Time For Presents” and again used a template from My Time Made Easy Shop – I believe this one is called “Carry It.”  I used papers from Bazzill and K and Co. DP.  I added a border to the roof using Fiskars punch and Bazzill papers.  I colored this awesome stamp with Copics and added Stickles and Aleen’s' snow glue at the bottom, then daubed with Memento ink after cutting with Nestie.  Sentiment is from a clear stamp set and cut with Paper Smooches die.  I added crinkle ribbon at the top made into a triple bow using my bow easy and added a fabric snowflake.  I sure hope you like it and will come join us!!

I'm Monday Hostess at DIGITAL DELIGHTS!!

Hello everyone and happy Monday!  Today I am Monday Hostess at DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG.  I have been on Wendy's DT for 3 years now - I began on the Digital Delights DT and just switched over to the Delightful Challenges DT this month in order to play along with the challenges and comment on all your lovely entries into our challenge.  I am also Senior DT Groups Coordinator - I do the Bargain Friday posts on the DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG as well as on PaperCraft Planet and our group there.

For my Hostess Monday post, I decided to go with a Christmas in July creation as I have seen a bunch of Christmas in July challenges out there and thought it would be fun to enter some.  I have chosen "Donita and Tree" image from DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.  Wendy has tons of amazing sentiments available at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP that would have been perfect for this card, unfortunately, my computer where all my digital files are located is not working at the moment, so I was unable to print one out.  (I had printed the image several days ago before my computer issues started).  I colored the image with my Copics and added Sakura glaze and glitter pens as well as Atyou Spica pens.  I chose DP from Stampin' Up and cardstock from Bazzill.  I added crinkle ribbon that I bought from an Etsy shop and used my Bow Easy to make a triple bow.  I attached a charm and then a Prima flower.  I sure hope you like it, I had a lot of fun making it!!

Happy Saturday to everyone!!  It’s been a busy week and I am so glad the weekend is here and I have some time to relax.  The weather outside is awful – it has been raining since Thursday!  Also, our main computer has been acting up, which is quite frustrating.  Good excuse to spend the rest of the day in my craft room

My creation today uses DI’S DIGI STAMPS “Little Bear’s Present.”  I love this sweet image and it was such fun to color with my Copics.  I paper pieced the girl’s dress with paper from Heidi Grace and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.   I added bling from Zva Creative and pearls from Prima.  All DP from Heidi Grace and CS from Bazzill.  Seam binding is from Verve and flower from Prima.  Sentiment is a clear stamp cut with Nestie.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!

USE COUNTRY FLAG COLORS

We have a NEW CHALLENGE at MILKCOFFEE CHALLENGE this fortnight and it is USE COUNTRY FLAG COLORS!  While we’d love to have you use your country’s flag colors, we are fine with you using any country’s flag colors, but would love you to let us know which country flag colors you have used!  You have until 8pm EDT on Wednesday, July 17 to come play along. While we’d love to see you use an image from MILKCOFFEE SHOP, it is not required to play along in our challenges. Hope you will come join us!!

SAN'S DESIGN NEW RELEASE - SUMMER FAIRY

Hey everyone!!  Hope you are having a lovely day.  Summer continues to be busy - my kids spent all last week with their cousins and we had lots of fun family acitivities as well.  This week is a wee bit quieter, but still busy as we celebrate 4th of July holiday here in US.

Right now I'm sharing my newest San's Designs creation with you.  This time I have used the New Release SUMMER FAIRY from SAN'S DESIGNS SHOP.  I love this image and I am super happy with how my coloring came together for this one.  I used my Copics plus Sakura glitter pen on the image and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.  Sentiment is brand new from Paper Smooches is cut with Nestie, bling from Darice added.  My papers are Bazzill CS and Adornit DP.  Flowers are from Prima.  I sure hope you like it, would love to hear what you think!!
