RECIPE CHALLENGE AT INKY IMPRESSIONS

Second post of the day today, and it won't be my last.   Weather is so gorgeous today - sunny and 60s.  Wow, I sure hope it stays like this and maybe even gets a wee bit warmer.

I'm pleased to announce a New Challenge this week at Inky Impressions Challenge and it is RECIPE - and our recipe is 1 image, 2 papers and 3 flowers.   You have 1 week to come play along in our challenge, so come link up your project at Inky Impressions Challenge - you can use any images you like.

My card today features digi Birthday LiLi from Inky Impressions.   Image is colored with Copics and cut out Tonic die.  Die behind the image is Nestie.  I chose Echo Park DP, flowers are Prima and sentiment from My Creative Time is cut with die from my stash.   I sure hope you like it and will come join our challenge!!

Best Friends Image from Faery Ink Designs

Hello everyone!!  Back again today, this time to share some inspiration with you.  You can find the image I used, Autumn Rose and Arielle Besties at the Faery Ink Shop.  I absolutely adore this image, these sweet gals are such fun to color - I hope you like the colors I chose.

I have colored this wonderful image with Copics.   I chose colors to match the Kaisercraft DP I used.  Hair combos are YR31, YR21, YR24 and E17 on blond girl and brownish hair combo is E13, E15, E17 and E18.  The pink combo I chose is RV10, RV11, RV21 and RV23.  I chose E97, YR18, E09 and E19 for the orange combo.  Brown combo on shirt and shoes done with E41, E42, E43 and E44.  Blue tights done with B0000, B000, B00 and B41 and yellow dress done with YR30, YR31, Y21 and E43.  Image is cut out with scissors.  I added a doily die cut from Cheery Lynn designs and topped that with Nestie die cuts.  Sentiment is from Hero Arts clear stamp and cut out with Joy Crafts die.  Pearls added are from Prima.

FAIRY FUN WITH FAERY INK!!

Hello everyone!!  I'm popping in today to share some inspiration with you today.  You can find the image I used, Fairy Princess in Boots at the Faery Ink Shop.  I absolutely adore this her, this gorgeous image was such fun to color - I hope you like the colors I chose.

I have colored this beauty with my trusty Copics.   I chose colors to match the First Edition DP I used.  Hair combo is YR14, E08, E19 and E59.  The pink combo I chose is RV10, RV11, RV21 and RV23 and RV25 plus C4 for shadow.  Gold is Y21, YR24, E33.  I chose C2, C4 and C6 for her fabulous boots and wings are YG11, YG23 and YG25.

FUN/FANCY FOLDS CHALLENGE AT DI'S DIGI DESIGNS

Happy Saturday to everyone!   More soccer this weekend, seems like that is how I will spend every weekend until end of May.  Don't get me wrong, I love watching my boys, but sometimes it does seem never ending and this weekend they are in 2 different cities, so I only get to see one and hubby gets the other.

Today my creation uses one of the newest adorable images from DI’S DIGI STAMPS "Butterfly Mia."  I think this fold is called rocking circle fold or something similar.  I chose DP from Penny Black, flowers from Prima and sentiment from My Craft Spot cut with Taylored Expressions die.  Image is colored with Copics and cut out with scissors.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

Sexy and Sassy with Karleigh Sue Digis

Hello everyone!   I am, back to share another creation using one of the brilliant images from Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe.

Today, I am using Sexy Irie image which can be found in Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe.  This is a super fun an versatile image.

For this creation, I decided to go with a color scheme outside of my usual comfort zone, and I have to say, I am really please with the results.  I hope you like it as well.  The DP is from Kaisercraft, bling from Queen and Co. and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Image is cute with one of my brand new dies from Nellie Snellen.  Sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and cut with die from there.

WE'RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE - NEW RELEASE WITH DIGI MY WORLD

Hello everyone and welcome to the Digi My World NEW April digital release - images will be available in Digi My World Shop at Noon EDT on Friday, April 24, but the DT will be showing off sneak peeks all week long at Digi My World Blog!   Everyone has made some wonderful inspirational projects to share with you!

My Project today uses Glinda from the new Wizard of Oz inspired images.  I think this image is so cute and she was so much fun to color.  I have to admit that this may be the best coloring of hair that I have ever done!  Image is colored with Copics, and I added a yellow brick road for her to stand on.   I chose DP from First Edition.  Flowers are Prima and I used Tonic Studios dies for the oval pieces.  Sentiment is from A. Jillian Vance Designs and cut with Nestie.  I sure hope you like it!

Today at Lacy Sunshine we are taking part in a PJ-yama Party blog hop.

I have made a mini easel painting using the digi called Sleepytime Haley Hippo Stitched Collection and it can be found in the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe

My image was colored using with a combination of Shinhan and Copic Markers and cut out with La La Land stitched die. I chose DP from Basic Grey and CS from Bazzill. This adorable mini easel and frame are from Taylored Expressions. I sure hope you like it. Here I am having a pillow fight with my youngest daughter.

SORT OF NEW RELEASES AT KARLEIGH SUE DIGI STAMPS

Happy Thursday everyone!  I am still feeling pretty bad, although I did get up and shower this morning, which is a step more than yesterday, so I guess that's progress:P  Definitely have 1 kid home today and possibly more - I won't know for another 45 mins. on the other b/c his start time is later.

Anyway, enough of my boring stories.  I am excited to announce that we have some sort of New Releases this month and the images can all be found at KARLEIGH SUE ETSY SHOPPE.  Cheri, the brilliant artist who draws Karleigh Sue, had some personal business to attend to this past month, so instead of having a full blown New Release, we are showing off the images which were released in between the last release and now.   Hope you will check out what the DT gals have done with the New Releases by visiting Karleigh Sue Inspiration Blog.

New Challenge at ALL DRESSED UP

Well, it's been good and bad here - the good - Peanut, my puppy, got her staples out and her cone off on Monday and is doing really well.  The bad news - I had 1 sick kid home yesterday and 3 today plus I have been sick since yesterday:(

Amelia's Bunny fun at Digi My World

Hi everyone and happy Monday!!  Hope you have all enjoyed a wonderful weekend.  I spent my weekend on the soccer fields - my 12 yr. old son had a game Friday night and 2 games Saturday and my 14 yr. old had 1 game Sunday.  Super glad the weather has finally gotten warmer.

Today I get to share my newest creation with you today using one of the adorable images Digi My World Shop!  This time I chose an image from the Amelia's Bunnies - 4 fun girly images in this set, so lots of fun options:)

Image is colored with Copics - it is a really fun image to color - I hope you  will try this image set.  I used E31, E35, E57 and E79 for her hair.  Skin color is E000, E00, E21, E11 and E04.  Jeans are B91, B93, B97.  Grass is G20, YG13, YG17 and G28.   Flowers are Y04, Y09, BG53, BG49, Y32 and Y38.   Bunnies are C0, C2, C4 and C6, E35, E57 and E79 and I added various spots using Sharpie paint pen.   Amelia's shirt is RV52, RV55 and RV66.  Chick is Y15, Y18 and Y17 and shoes are E43, E44 and E47.  Image is cut with Nesties and decorated with Nestie cut outs.  DP is Doodlebug, flowers are Prima.   Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms and cut out with Nestie.  I sure hope you like it and will pay a visit to Digi My World Shop.

Sparkly Birthday Wishes with Karleigh Sue Digis

Hello everyone!  I am back today on the Karleigh Sue Inspiration blog with another creation to share using one of the brilliant images from Karleigh Sue Digi Shoppe.

Today, I am using Baby Shower Cake image which can be found in Karleigh Sue Etsy Shoppe and Karleigh Sue Digi Shoppe.

There is a lot of detail in this image which makes it super fun to color.  I used it for a baby birthday card, but it can obviously be used for a baby shower card, baby shower invite or any other type of baby related celebration.  Another great things about this image is that is can be used for a boy or a girl.  Since I found this cute DP from Kaisercraft, I decided to color my image more girly.

All blues BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG18

All pinks RV11, RV21, RV23, RV25, RV09

NEW RELEASES AT FAERY INK!!

Happy Sunday and also Happy Easter to everyone! Sorry I have not been posting so much lately - still dealing with the new house, kids were on spring break this past week, and if you follow me on FB, then you know we had a major scare last weekend with one of our puppies.  She was spayed on March 26 and last Sunday, she ripped out her internal stitches while we were at my 14 year old son's soccer game.   What resulted was a horrific drive to the ER Vet and thank goodness God and the dr. at the ER Vet were looking out for us, because otherwise, she would not have survived.  She is doing much better now, but still on major antibiotics and has to be kept quiet for another couple weeks.  I will be much happier when her stitches are removed and she is fully healed.

My card today features Gabby Flora and Fauna from Faery Ink Shop.
