Nissa Shae Fairy Angel from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SHOP

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome back to my blog.   I hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.   Weather is a little warmer finally and hoping the warming trend is here to stay.  I am running a bit late with today’s post as we finally broke down and got a new computer and it has taken a lot longer to set up than I was hoping.  I am also thrilled to share my newest creation using one of the fabulous images from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

Nissa Shae Fairy Angel

This week I am sharing my creation using Nissa Shae Fairy Angel digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics.  Image cut out with a scissors.

I used the following colors:

Hair E25, E55, E31, E50
Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30          
Dress, Bows, Socks C5, BV08, BV17, BV04, BV02, V09, V17

Image is highlighted with Y06, Y11 and blended with Colorless blender using a water brush.  Grass is YG05, YG03, YG01

I have chosen a premade kraft card from Heartfelt Creations and decorated it with papers from First Edition.

 

Sentiment is from Pixie Wishes Sentiment Set which can also be found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Sentiment is cut out with die from Duo Dies set and sponged with Staz-On ink.  The other pages of the card are decorated with Flowers from I Am Roses and butterfly from Prima.    The dies I used for the tops of the wavy parts of the cards are from Heartfelt Creations.  Additional butterflies on the last page are from Prima as well with more Zva Creative bling.  I sure hope you like it and have enjoyed learning how I constructed it.

Die Cuts at THE PAPER SHELTER Challenge

For my card this week, I chose Adorable Spring Piglet digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this beautiful image with Copics and cut out with Penny Black Die.

I used papers from Pink Paislee and dies from MFT for the stitched octagons, sentiment is from Riley and Co. and is cut out with Sizzix die.  I added Queen and Co. bling on the sentiment piece and buttons from Papertrey Ink on the bottom left of my card.  Here is a closer view of my colored image.

Gloria from LeAnn’s World 101

Hello everyone, today I get to share another fabulous image from LeAnn’s World 101 Shop, which you can also view on LeAnn's World 101 blog!  Hope you are having a great day.  I can finally see some sunshine today, so that puts me in a much better mood than I have been.

The image I chose this week is Gloria and she is a stunner.  She is also one of the many wonderful images you will find at LeAnn's World 101 Etsy Shop.  Make sure you pay a visit over there as you are going to love all the adorable images!

I colored this beauty with my Copics.  I used a “new to me” red combo and I’m really please with the results.

Here are the Copics I chose for my coloring:

Outfit, Purse and Hair baubles RV99, R59, RV29, R35, RV21, RV11

Image is cut with Tattered Lace die and then I filled in the distressed areas with Atyou Spica gold.  I used papers from Doodlebug and DCWV.  I chose to cut my circles out of the DCWV paper using dies from Duo, Nesties and Lawn Fawn.  Sentiment is from a rubber stamp, stamped in Brilliance ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I took a bunch of stamens, glitter glass balls, and glass bead pears and tied them together with ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon for my upper right embellishment.  My bling flourish comes from Bo Bunny.

Bruci Angelisa Fairy

This week I am sharing my creation using Bruci Angelisa Fairy digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics.  Image cut out with a Nestie that is new to my ever growing die cut collection.

I used the following colors:

Image is highlighted with RV02, RV00 and blended with Colorless blender using a water brush.

Sentiment is from Encouragement Sentiment Set which can also be found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Sentiment is cut out with dies from my stash, colored over with Copic B32 and daubed with Memento ink.  Papers are Dare 2B Artzy.  I added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and buttons from Papertrey Ink.  I made a cloud shaker with my cloud dies and added sequin/bead mix from my stash for the inside.

I made a fancy fold, I know there’s a name for it, but I don’t know what it’s called.  I chose papers from First Edition, added a sentiment from Unity stamped with Tim Holtz Oxide ink, which I heat embossed, and cut out with MFT die.  I added additional flowers from Prima and I Am Roses.

BRIDIE from LeAnn’s World 101 Shop

Hello everyone, today is my first post on the brand new LeAnn's World 101 blog!  Hope you are having a great day.  Believe it or not, it is snowing here in Ohio.  My friends and I are calling today the 75th day of January - at least that's what it feels like.  I guess that is part of the reason that the image I chose for today is happy, cheerful and shows signs of spring or summer!

I colored this beauty with my Copics, and as I said, I focused on happy, fun colors which remind me of spring - nice bright pinks, purples and teal.  Here are the Copics I chose for my coloring:

Image is cut out using my Cameo.  I chose to do a fancy fold card to showcase this image.  I often do my own cutting and folding when I make fancy fold cards, but for this one, I used my Cameo.  I did alter the original design a little as far as size and layers and I only used the trees that came with the design.  These stunning papers are from a new DCWV paper pad and my sentiment is from Unity rubber stamp and cut out with Nestie.  I stamped it with Brilliance ink and then embossed using my heat gun.  Finally I added some blingy discs to the bottom left.  I really hope you like it and have enjoyed learning how I colored and created my card.

Hand Colored Image at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS CHALLENGE

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.
