Hello everyone!  I should probably be asleep at this moment, but I am not.  I wanted to thank everyone for their birthday wishes, it meant so much to me to get your lovely wishes yesterday.  I wound up having a very fun birthday!!

So for my card today, I have used BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE from MELJEN'S DESIGNS.  I adore this fun image – I colored it with Copics, Fiskars glitter gels pens, cut with Nesties and added Stickles for the frosting.  I mounted it on a Cheery Lynn Designs doily die, used papers from Bo Bunny and Core-dinations.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid and sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash, cut out with Memory Box die.  I sure hope you like it.

Good morning all and welcome to NEW RELEASE DAY at DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG!  Not only do the DT girls have some creations that are OUT OF SIGHT (50s reference), but we have NEW DT girls joining us this week and they are ROCKIN’!

For my creation, I used Rockabilly Richie, 50's Sentiments Set, Fabulous Fifties Paper Set, which are all available at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.  I colored Richie with Copics, cut out with Lifestyle Craft dies and daubed with a light grey from Memento.  Button is from my stash and mounted on Nesties cut circle.  Ribbon from my stash and CS from Core-dinations.  Added frame to sentiment using MS Word and cut out with scissors.  Hope you like it

STITCHING AND/OR SKETCH AT THE PIXIE COTTAGE

Happy Wednesday to everyone – wow, is it really Wednesday already?!?  We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you at THE PIXIE COTTAGE and it is STITCHING and/or SKETCH.  Here is the sketch if you’d like to use it.

I have used the sketch as well as added so faux stitching to my creation.  I have used one of the new stamps Girly Girl Buffy by Alisa Ramirez from The Pixie Cottage Collection.  All of the images and stamps can be found at MICHELLE'S SCRAPBOOKING and MORE along with a great selection of die cuts, papers and other card making/scrapbooking products.

For today’s card, I have colored my stamped image with Copics and cut out using Nesties.  All DP is from Heidi Grace.  Circles cut with Nesties and I have added faux stitching around the circles and around the base.  Sentiment is from Unity and cut with Nestie.  All CS is Core-dinations.  I added buttons from Bag O’ Buttons for the finishing touch.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along – you have until 11:59pm CST on Tuesday, January 17th.

FROM THE HEART CHALLENGE AT THERE’S MAGIC IN THE AIR

Hello and welcome to a NEW CHALLENGE at THERE'S MAGIC IN THE AIR W/ PAPER CUPCAKES.  Before I get to our NEW CHALLENGE, a couple of “housekeeping” updates for you – we are going to bi-weekly challenges, so you will now have 2 weeks to complete our challenge.  Also, we will now post Mondays at 6pm, so be sure and check us out every other Monday at that time!!

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone is doing great.  I am tired as usual because it is Monday and I always change my sleep schedule on the weekends, but I have a very busy day today, so I better wake up quickly!

For today’s creation, I have chosen Little Dumpling New Year’s Girl and one of the Baby sentiments from DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.  One of our friends had her baby on Saturday – actually last baby of the year born in our city – so I thought this image and sentiment was perfect for her!
I colored everything with Copics, using Fiskars glitter gel pens for baby’s sash, which says “Happy New Year” (the glitter pens don’t always photograph well.  I used Core-dinations CS and Trimcraft DP.  Ribbon is from my stash, pearls from Prima, shapes cut with Nesties, embossed with Cuttlebug folder, borders cut with Marianne die.  Image distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink.  I sure hope you like it

Happy Wednesday everyone!   I am sitting at my computer and it is so quiet. The kids went back to school today and it seems strange having the house so quiet - even the dogs are napping.   I am looking forward to the new year and what adventures and experiences it may hold!!

Jehanne, our FABULOUS owner and illustrator at JUST SOME LINES, has been busy creating wonderful new images for everyone to enjoy while us DT gals were on break. So, now we have the great privilege of being able to share these images with you:)

For my post today, I am using BIRTHDAY PARTY GIRL and you can find here at JUST SOME LINES SHOP. I had so much fun coloring this image with my Copics - one of my new year's resolutions is to take my coloring up a notch, hopefully I can do that! I am also resolving to take better photos of my creations because after spending so much time on the coloring and layouts, I'd like that to be obvious in the photo. We'll see...

I cut the image using Nesties and then added Stickles for the cupcake frosting. Other cuts are done with Nesties except sentiment is done with Lifestyle Crafts die. Well, my kids go back to school today, so it’s back to getting up at the crack of dawn!  Hope everyone is doing well.  It’s pretty chilly today here, but is supposed to get warmer throughout the week and the wee bit of snow we have will likely be gone by tomorrow.
I want to share our NEW CHALLENGE at THE PIXIE COTTAGE this week and it is MONOCHROMATIC and/or sketch.  Once again, we have a fabulous sketch by our DT leader, Katie Tate.

Happy New Year all!  I have realized today that I am an expert at wasting time LOL.  I guess maybe because life has been so busy during the holidays that today I just felt like doing nothing!  I spent most of the day surfing the web and watching American football – it was a perfectly relaxing day – also slept til noon!

I hope all of you had a wonderful and safe New Year and that 2012 will be a healthy, happy and peaceful year for all of you.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you today at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE and it is ANYTHING GOES.  Now, we have a NEW RULE starting with this challenge, and that is you need to use an image from WHOOPSI DAISY SHOP in order to play along in our challenge.  If you don’t have a WHOOPSI DAISY image, don’t worry – head on over to WHOOPSI DAISY SHOP and pick up the FREEBIE Linnie has for you.  Also, you will definitely want to take time to browse through the images in the shop – they are all FABULOUS!!
