CAR ACCIDENT BUT I AM FINE
Just a quick update for all of you. I was in a car accident today around 2:15pm EST. I am ok except for some bruises on my left arm and side as a result of the driver's side air bags deploying. I was very fortunate that I was the only one in the vehicle at the time a 16 and 1/2 year old plowed into my car. I had just dropped all 4 of my children off at their babysitter's house. After meeting with the police and ambulance squad for an hr., I then spent 3 hrs. at the Urgent Care facility near my house. Needless to say, I did not get anything done today. I know I will be sore tomorrow based on what the dr. said and there's a good chance my car will be totaled, which is a huge bummer b/c it's only a year and a half old. But, I thank God that I am fine and just want you all to know that if you don't see me in some of the forums it is because I am busy with renting a van, and dealing with all the other issues that arise from the accident. Also, for those of you who won my candy, it may be a bit delayed in sending out. Love and hugs to all of you!

Hi good to hear that you wasnt seriously hurt and hope the other driver wasnt too. Just take it easy shock can be delayed.

Oh you poor thing,very glad to hear you are ok! Don't worry about your car all things can be replaced but not your life! Hope you feel better and your bruises heal quickly :o)

Oh Audrey, so pleased that you are ok, that is all that matters. Whilst I know its awful to lose your car, its only metal and it can be replaced but you can't. Look after yourself for a few days. Jill x

So sorry you've had to go thru this. Thank heaven you are weren't seriously injured. Like others have said everything can be replaced but you. Thank God the children weren't in the car, even if they weren't hurt it would have been a terrifying experience for them. I hope the youngster who hit you is okay too.
Take some time to recuperate and take care of yourself. Everyone understands and we'll all be here when you feel up to it.

Glad you are ok. Wishing you a speedy recover from the soreness. Since the airbags deployed your car will more than likely be totaled. It is really expensive to put the airbags back. Have a great week.
