DIGITAL DELIGHTS NEW RELEASES - WOO HOO!!

Have you visited DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP this week?  It's time for NEW RELEASES and you are going to LOVE what Wendy (aka Louby Loo) has in the shop for you!!  Here's one of the NEW RELEASES - Prissie the Pirate!  Isn't she adorable and fun?!?  There's also Presley the Pirate (you'll meet him below), plus NEW DIGI PAPERS, SENTIMENTS and ACCESSORIES to go with these great new additions to the already FABULOUS collection at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.

Now, before I introduce my project for the week, I want to share some other information with you.  First, our next DIGI DAY at SCRAPBOOK NEWS and REVIEW will be next Thursday, April 14-21 and will have the theme of EASTER.  This time around, we will be trying our DIGI DAY in the main forum of SNR, so loading your projects and tracking them should be much easier:)  I hope you will join us!!   You can use any DIGITAL DELIGHTS images you wish as long as your project fits the theme of Easter.

If you haven't already joined our DIGITAL DELIGHTS GROUP on SNR, you can do that by clicking HERE.  This way you will be able to quickly view and receive all the updated information about DIGI DAY and other events going on in the SNR group.

Please don't forget that DELIGHTFUL CHALLENGES BLOG has a NEW CHALLENGE beginning today.  I hope you will play along, the DT girls have made some amazing samples for the challenge as always.

Speaking of WONDERFUL samples, DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG is showcasing the DIGITAL DELIGHTS DT projects using the NEW RELEASES.  I hope you will head on over there and check them out!!  Also, if you have the chance, please visit the DT members on their personal blogs - everyone likes having visitors:)

I got to play with DIGITAL DELIGHTS Presley the Pirate this week and I had so much fun coloring him and his shop with Copics, Atyou Spicas and a Sakura white gel pen.

I tried a new fold this week, called "Accordian" style.  Got the instructions from the resources area of Splitcoast Stampers.  I deciced to cut the images and sentimet with Nesties and then distress using Tim Holtz tea stain distress ink.  I thought it fit well with the pirate them.  American Crafts textured CS is base of card, I also used 2 DIGITAL DELIGHTS digi papers and sentiment, plus added eye patch to Presley's eye from DIGITAL DELIGHTS Pirate accessories set.  Polka do DP is from Kaisercraft.  I really hope you like it - I had a lot of fun with it!!  Bling is My Mind's Eye.

Other challenges entered to follow:
AMBER'S CRAFTS and STUFF - new technique (new fold)
AUD'S SENTIMENTS - card/sentiment for a child
CRAFTY PURPLE FROG - any shape but square
