WHOOPSI DAISY - LET'S GET VINTAGE/SHABBY CHIC

Good morning to everyone!!  My weekend was very busy with a soccer tournament for the older of my 2 sons (he's 10).  It was fun, but we got rained out of our second game on Saturday, and as a result did not make the final, but they are a bunch of 10 year olds and they had fun and mostly played well.

Now I want to let you know about this week's NEW CHALLENGE over at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE and it is VINTAGE/SHABBY CHIC.  I actually picked the challenge this week and the DAISY DIVA DT girls absolutely ROCKED it!!  There creations are SOOO AMAZING.  You will definitely want to check them out at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE.  Also, if you have a chance, I'm sure they would love a visit to their personal blogs.  Trust me, you will enjoy seeing ALL of their FABULOUS creations:)

I decided to make 2 cards this week.  You can find both images on sheet #39.  Both images are colored with Copics, Atyou Spicas used on bottom card.  All flowers are Prima.  All shapes cut with Nesties.  I distressed edges of card right below using Ranger Tea leaf distress ink.  Ribbon is Organdy from JoAnn.  DP is SU and base is Coredinations textured.

For my second card, I chose textured Coredinations again for the base.  Ribbon is Offray satin from JoAnn.  DP are My Mind's Eye and Jillie Bean designs.  Bling is from My Mind's Eye.  Hope you like it.
