DISTRESS IT CHALLENGE AT INKY IMPRESSIONS

Hey everyone!  Have you missed me?  I can’t believe it has been almost a week since my last post.  Lots of crazy-ness going on here – most notably that our upstairs AC broke in the middle of some very hot and humid weather about a week ago.  When the guy came out Fri. to fix it, we realized it was still under warranty – made it by 2 months – but it was after 5pm and their office was closed, so we had to wait til Monday to get the new motor put in so that we made sure it was approved to be covered under warranty.  My craft room, which is technically my closet, is up on the end of the 2nd floor over the garage, so even with the AC working, it is not exactly the coolest place in the house, but with no AC, it was like a sauna and I couldn’t even sit in there for any period of time.  Anyhoo, that is why I have been scarce, but I have a lot of projects to share now

For my creation this week, I have chosen INKY IMPRESSIONS rubber stamp “LiLi’s Prayer.”  I have colored her with Copics and tried to make it look distressed.  I found this awesome Basic Grey distressed papers and combined with SU and Core-dinations CS.  I ripped the bottom papers for distressed look and used Ranger Distress Ink to add color to my flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Sentiment, which is cut with Nesties, is from A. Jillian Vance Designs.  Sure hope you like it and are inspired to come play along!!
