SOFTPENCIL TUESDAY - SWEET SAILORS

It's Tuesday, which means time for my SOFTPENCIL PROJECT this week!!  A few announcements before I get to my project this week.  You'll want to pop on over to the SOFTPENCIL BLOG to check out everything that is going on this week.   Plus, Elizabeth has shared some SUPER EXCITING news about the new SOFTPENCIL STUDIOS coming in 2011!!  You can also see all the work from the other SOFTPENCIL DT members, which is AMAZING.  If you have a chance, please stop by the other DT members blogs (links in my sidebar) and leave them some love as their work is so inspiring!!

As of now, the SOFTPENCIL SHOP is closed for maintenance, so the only place you can get the current SOFTPENCIL PRODUCTS is at SOFTPENCIL'S ETSY SHOP.  All current products will be available ONLY until Jan. 2.  Elizabeth is re-designing all her characters, so get your current SOFTPENCIL products while you still can.  For NOVEMBER, everything in the SOFTPENCIL ETSY SHOP is 20% off!!  Also,

Sale is going on, so you definitely want to get yourself over there to take advantage of all these GREAT OFFERS!!

One last thing before I get to my card.  Hope you will pop on over to SOFTPENCIL GROUP ON PCP for fun, chatting and getting to know the DT and other lovers of SOFTPENCIL!!

For our DT projects this week, we are using the image "Sweet Sailors," which is so adorable.  I have colored my SOFTPENCIL image with Copics, Atyou Spicas and Stickles.  It is cut out with Nellie's die, distressed with SU Cherry Cobbler ink and then I laced pearls through it.  Papers are SU Cherry Cobbler and Crumb cake and TAC white.  Each paper is embossed with Sizzix EF - red and white use same EF and different one used on Crumb cake.  White piece is distressed with SU Cherry Cobbler ink.  Lace/ribbon is from The Girl's Paperie.  I had a lot of fun making this, and I hope you like it as well.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH - sketch
THERE SHE GOES - color - cherry cobbler, crumb cake, white
GINGERLOFT - great outdoors
CRAFTY EMMA - lace
CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - circles
AI FACTORY - bring on the bling
A SPOONFULL OF SUGAR - anything goes
ARTFUL INKABLES - all about punches/dies
PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - punch or die cut
